*Aerosmith - Dream On Lyrics* [Verse 1] Every time that I look in the mirror All these lines on my face getting clearer The past is gone It went by like dusk to dawn Isn't that the way? Everybody's got their dues in life to pay, yeah [Interlude] I know nobody knows Where it comes and where it goes I know it's everybody's sin You got to lose to know how to win [Verse 2] Half my life's in books' written pages Lived and learned from fools and from sages You know it's true All the things come back to you [Chorus] Sing with me, sing for the year Sing for the laughter and sing for the tear Sing with me, if it's just for today Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away [Chorus] Sing with me, sing for the year Sing for the laughter and sing for the tear Sing with me, it's just for today Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away [Bridge] Dream on, dream on, dream on Dream until your dreams come true Dream on, dream on, dream on Dream until your dreams come true Dream on, dream on Dream on, dream on Dream on, dream on Dream on Ah! [Chorus] Sing with me, sing for the year Sing for the laughter and sing for the tear Sing with me, if it's just for today Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away Sing with me, sing for the year Sing for the laughter and sing for the tear Sing with me, it's just for today Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away

This song is one of those timeless pieces that just doesn't age or feel out of place. These kind of songs are what we need more of and not the 3 minute rubbish pushed out by 5 minute "music" heroes. I listened to it twice and I've been rocking slowly back & forth with the song. Gentle words with a strong message. I'm 68 and still love my music.

@@mr.a9394 yes you should listen to and appreciatie music from the 70-80-90, because every music from your generation starting from 2000, is crap.

[Verse 1] Every time that I look in the mirror All these lines on my face getting clearer The past is gone It went by like dusk to dawn Isn't that the way?
