Honestly, I think she's the worst 'main' character in the first two seasons. She's as bratty and let's face it, also as dumb, as a rookie Ash is. She however doesn't have the excuse of being the kid of a single mom in a small out of the way village, but is an actual Gym Leader.

The early Seasons were so much Fun xD Single Child Ash and youngest Child Misty, as they CONSTANTLY mocked and insulted each other XD Dont forget that she is the Gymleader, because her 3 older Sisters didnt want that Position. It wasnt part of their Life Plans to stay in the City so they forced Misty to become the Gym Leader. Thats a good excuse for being a brat^^ Btw. the Reason why iam pro AshxMisty if its about Shipping. @@JackRook Honestly, I'm not sure about the group dynamics from Black/White onwards, because I couldn't stand how they turned Ash from promising champion-to-be in Sinnoh that was only stopped by a guy with 2 legendary pokemon, into a bigger idiot than he was at the start of season 1, so I dropped the show. I do think it was nice that Brock found himself a new calling, though that too was very rushed at the end of the season, instead of at least giving clues through all of Sinnoh.
