Hi Phil, thanks great tip re the Silverhook Silicone Grease, worked a treat (not forgetting the O ring on the spout). As you say spays are flash in the pan🤣

Hi Phil. Great part 2. Some great tips. We got one of those long brush. And it's fantastic. There are some other tips we will be using in ours when getting ours ready for winter. Cheers Paul

Well Phil, I was really surprised how much water came out using Floe. I always leave all taps open whilst travelling home and for my Floe down use a 1 litre jug and usually get around 300 to 500 mls of residual water out of the system. I do this after every holiday. A few good tips there especially with the drain 👍. All the best, Rob & Gail 😀

Hi Rob n Gail. We drove through Spain and uk with the tap open. So I was surprised as you. An obscene amount of water. Thanks Phil 👍🙂

Great video - use the Floe kit on our camper and get around 1 L of water out. Well worth buying.

Hi BT. Yes the Floe is a great bit of kit. Not the cheapest but cheaper than cracked taps and bust water pipes. Thanks for watching. Phil.🙂👍

Some great tips Phil, I’ve two weekends of the season left before the van goes into full winter snuggle mode. It always makes me feel a little sad, here’s to getting away in February 🍻

Hi Colin. Yes it is a little sad to put it away. I look at it as a way to save up for the following season. Plus it is great to under cover it after the winter. Thanks Phil. 🙂👍

Great video, have you ever had trouble dropping the hot water out. The vent pipe is clear. What is the best to clean out any potential bits in the hot water system or dump valve. Thank you in anticipation.

Hi Alan. Good question but some puriclean and put 3 tablespoons of into a full aqua roll of water. Pump through the water system. Leave over night and then drain down. Do not use Milton as it rots the boiler. You can get puriclean from Amazon. Don’t forget to blow out the system once drained. Thanks Phil 👍🙂

@lostweekendscaravan thank you that was next on the list before taking the dump valve off.

Another good video giving food for thought. I also found the Colapz cleaning brush pretty useless, so I’m going to invest in a radiator brush. I’ve been using the Floe drain down kit for a few years now and thoroughly recommend it. I’ll be winterising in the next couple of weeks.

Hi Noorman. Yes the cleaning brush from colapz is a great idea but not much use. A radiator brush is very useful for more than what I have shown so far. I have another use for it but I can't record that video till next year. Floe is one of the best bits of kit I have bought. I need to sell my whale one though. Thanks Phil. 👍🙂

Hi Keith could you explain a bit more as I am unsure what you are referring too. Thanks Phil 🙂👍
@KeithMakin-o5r6 күн бұрын
It’s at the end of the handle, is a release or alter the water flow

Hi Phil, do you leave the air comp on so when you open a tap it clicks on and wants to build up pressure? Or do pressure up, open the tap, let water out, then close and pressure back up again and do the same?
@lostweekendscaravan3 ай бұрын
Hi lee. Good question I do the latter as my pump shuts off once at the correct pressure. It may seem a pain but it works best this way. Many Thanks Phil.👍🙂
