This is just like how it was in the early years of social media. I remember people being kicked out of public places and even trespassed as well as the nonsense the LEOs believed back then that was irrelevant. No privacy in public places. If people do not like to be recorded in public, they need to stay away from public places or stay home and get basically all of their shopping done and have it delivered even place an order in McDonald's and have Uber Eats delivered.

You can film / record / photograph anything you want in public space and/or plain view. You can film from a public sidewalk into a private buildings open window. You just can’t film physically inside a privately owned space without permission. Most people not in the business don’t realize these laws
