Não subestime o turco, ele é jovem e tem potencial para ser algo no futuro. É um dos três melhores especialistas em cobranças de faltas hoje e é também um bom playmaker(se não me engano foi um dos maiores criadores de chances pra gol na Bundesliga), se o elenco do Milan render o que tem pra render ele pode virar um cara no nível de um Hazard, De Bruyne ou Eriksen caso contrário ele será um Flopp ou decepção. João Mário tomou má decisões na carreira, ele tem mais potencial que o Quaresma tinha(embora ambos tenham floppado e decepcionado).

Quando o Kaká foi para o Milan tinha-se muito menos expectativas nele na época do que hoje se tem no Turco, mesmo com o Kaká tendo jogado barbaridade pelo SPFC ele só pegou titularidade por causa da insistência do Ancelotti(que acabou gerando ótimos frutos).

The comparison is not justified apart for the same number (10 for both). Matthäus was similar to Rijkaard (number 8 of Milan AC), but Rijkaard was much more complete midfielder, with higher technical level and creativity. Matthäus was a top player, a typical german midfielder, and his main talent was the mental approach to the match. On the other side, Gullit was a Universal Player, covering a lot of roles, always very spectacular. Really uncomparable to the others players of the same era, Ruud had a terrific impact on the matches, playing in turn as forward, winger or midfielder. His main talents were the ability to realize very quickly complexe technical kicks, goals and assists, an explosive strength and the charismatic presence. In the period 1987-1989 Gullit was a giant playing against kids...

Mental approach to the match? LOL. Typical dumb stereotype about German player. If you havent seen German player play then just say he's good mental approach. Geez. All qualities you attached to Gullit can be attached to Matthaus. Matthaus had great acceleration, made insane runs with the ball from his own half to opposition's box, scored loads of goals, made plenty great assists, could make powerful long range shots, free kicks, was great tackler, could score with head and had charismatic presence as well. As compared to Riikaard I think Matthaus was much more complete midfielder.

@@robertwill23 Rijkaard was far more technical than Matthaus though , was far better with his head than matthaus mainly cause of his size . He was a better tackler than Matthaus . Matthaus wasn't known for his speed or acceleration , more his stamina . Rijkaard was quicker on his day . All of the attributes Matthaus has Gullit and Rijkaard could do . Rijkaard can play from defence to even a Second striker , Gullit could play and has played on the wing . Yes , no doubt Matthaus is a very complete player , but Rijkaard was better defensively and technically , and arguably offensively , so overall Rijkaard was more complete.Judging by your previous comments , you are probably a Germany fan , nothing bad about it though .

RYDER To be fair there’s actually nothing wrong with that some say Gullit some day Matthaus some say Rijkaard . Rijkaard could was world class attacking wise and defensively , he is the most complete player of all time along side others I could mention . Gullit could do pretty much everything Matthaus could is too close to call , to be honest .

Gullit was only amazing in '88 and '89. And he literally had van Basten who was the best striker in the world at that time. Matthäus had a much longer career, came back from huge injuries and knew how to lead teams.
