That first box was fire. I also love that alt art foil of Tom Bombadil. The surge foiling is only in the box toppers. I guess the sol rings are too or are do they have a seperate foiling.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth probably won't be hit that hard since it's only in box topper/collector packs. It's Time Spiral Remastered reprint was about a 33% hit(to previously printed versions) and even it wound up getting into upper $30s since 2021. I'm guessing this will be closer to a 25% hit, and be back up to $35-$40 in 12-18 months.

That sounds damn near right on the nose except I would venture a guess it will be printed again in CMasters, thus throttling it down to Entomb levels. If not however, I think your estimation is very sound.

Also I remember reading that Pokemon packs were weighted to see if foil versions were in, which to me just makes purchasings of them a nonsense when I know that most of the foils were fished out already. In this regard, is MTG safe, meaning the packs on maybe Ebay and such are really a fair chance to pull a legendary card from? Thank you!

That pack was very hard to open. I wonder if they were manually included after the original sealing and then manually resealed. This way, they could make sure they were equally distributed throughout the country. The things I notice, lol.

It feels like everybody just intentionally trolled by talking about how they weren't liking the set and skipping it in advance, in order to admit that this set is FIRE on release. The artwork catches the old movies in such a good way, i had shivers when i zoomed through my friends collector box cards. The foiling looks SO good. Commander applicability is through the roof. I think we were all wrong, this set just CLICKS with people. Look at that art with the foiling on that ring, thats insane! Congrats!

Look at the prices and then compare it to the prices of the cards. EV of collector boxes is probally just aroud 190-220 its an insane loss atm that doesnt merit the 400+ box price. Art is great and I love lotr but im not spending this kind of cash on less than 0.5% to pull some madness variance is just not in your favour.
