The manipulation of Celebrimbor was really, really good.

The dwarves were immune to Sauron's BS. lol The Dwarven rings increased their mining skills, but also made them extra greedy. But were not controlled by Sauron at all. "They delved too greedily and too deep"

But Sauron brought on that greed. Like he was playing the long game, right?

@@pigskinpoetry The Rings amplified the wearers abilities, they were not intrinsically evil (well, except The One Ring). Dwarves stubbornnes (and greed and mining/crafting abilities) was amplified by the rings, that might be one of the reasons they were immune to Sauron's direct influence. They still got screwed tho. :)
