Ravagers might be viable as a single stack on gothmog, but haven't come around to try that yet. Been wanting to play Mordor again for ages

Can’t say I’ve tried it, but their damage just isn’t high enough to be worth it compared to reapers imo! And Mordor is great to play now if you can get a big community, the extra ability points from the new buff is amazing

@@TheHJWgaming we'll they're base DMG ist great but Overlord gets you about a 92% DMG increase with around 300 focus (and yes it applies to every hit with savagery, not just the first unit like with warlords), paired with the 60% bonus DMG I'm the first 4 rounds you can deal some respectable amount of DMG against a 3 unit army. With gothmog you also get almost 50% physical DMG reduction making him a wonderful defender of crossings etc. So far I have only tested it in Redbook, where it performed quite good, most of the time I even got a straight win (I purposefully took abilitys that don't benefit their DMG). It's still just Redbook, but its performance there suggests that it will be a decent build in the real world, if it's worth their insane cost will only be seen once I can try it, which will hopefully be next season

I can’t do so in my current Mordor server as I’m running a f2p account there and went for MoS instead of Gothmog 😬 Initial thoughts from what you say there seems decent, don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Though he would have to be 100% defence as he would be way too slow to be used offensively

@@TheHJWgaming yeah definitely, I'm also going for this R10 (that only for the memes though) so he'll just be parked somewhere and hopefully get some nice kills or positive draws. If possible I want to do it in tactics evolved since they can get bonus DMG and 10% more hp there. Also almost all builds incentivies and counter 3 troop compositions there, so that truly should be their best case scenario. But I'll have to see what my group wants to do, I split of of them this season to finally test this build, but had to switch from Mordor do to the bad decisions the largest group made there. Defenitly don't want to take that gamble again.

How do u get Sauron and is he difficult to get and do u have to pick Mordor to get him I’m wondering bc I wanna go for elves bc I’m more of an attacker but I want to use Sauron who I know is gonna be in Mordor so if I pick elves could I still acquire Sauron ?

In roleplay servers, which season 1 always is, you can only use commanders aligned to whichever you choose from good / evil. However from S2 onwards you can choose to go to non role play and use whoever you want. If you want to invest in Sauron from the get go, go with any evil faction (doesn’t have to be Mordor) and then you can start straight away. Then season 2 onwards you can switch to a good side elven faction if you want and use Sauron. However as he is a T3 commander, it will take a lot of time (or investment if you want him faster) as you will need to get 30 of his very rare respect items, or his even rarer invitations from the mathom chests.
