It is obvious that this game is entering a new pay-to-win era. Considering the fact that this game is sooooo expensive, you'll have to either accept to be a punching bag for the whales, or spend five figures to remain competitive. Devs are giving f2p, light, and medium spenders more reasons to quit every other day!

I have my reservations about this game at the moment. I think there’s a clear imbalance on the characters power, stamina, energy, skills etc…in addition, the tasks don’t propel real growth, the lack of options for marching speeds and poor rewards after completing sweeps or tips, or boss fights are disappointing. Other games like Clash of Clans or War and Order are much better with missions, tasks, events, and rewards that propel the growth of the player by keeping game interesting, fun, challenging but not to the point of confusion whereas this game, I feel lost, basically growing and learning on my own. I was hoping for a better gaming experience in Rise to War as I love the LOTR books and movies, but not so much at this time, I hope the game improves.

I play RP type servers only for Evil side and I haven’t found this update useful for me. New commander is for Good side only but as I have been playing since 1st season I saw for the new commander added in game there was always equal amount for each side. It is sad to see that developers don’t pay equal attention. It would be at least nice to see that they still thinks about evil side by balancing the old commanders for evil side. Old commanders for evil side that needs buffs is still not playable at all. I would say that more than half of commanders needs readjustments. Unit adjustments aren’t appropriate at all, By that I mean, the Dragoons is defensive units in game, it can be seen by the skills that they have and evil side uses them as a damage receivers mainly. Instead adding them additional amount HP or Defence, developers added to them Attack stat which is senseless. Cataphract with nerfs still has better and meaningful stats for its use. Raiders needs Damage increase more than attack. With that unit adjustments I can see that new developers doesn’t have gameplay idea of this game. Wish to see them to get more involved to the player’s review until it’s too late if not already.

Yup it's embarassing how predictable devs are getting with this little money making programme. Let everyone get Dain now introduce commanders that counter Dain and will be a must have for everyone who wants to stay relevant. Then they just need to introduce 2 new commanders in a year or so to keep meta changing. Why would they just increase command/troop dmg effect on combat which would instantly make more existing commanders meta, that wouldn't encourage spending.

Nah this game is going to trash list much sooner than I thought. I am a whale myself and I don’t see anything that will keep me playing the game. The new meta is extremely boring since all you need is fully refined gold equipment for 4 commanders. There is almost 0 strategy involved in the game now, just who has better equipment. They really need to buff the purple equipment, at least make it like 80% of the golden equipment stats. Otherwise whales will play with whales only at the end.
