They have added the 150 level upgrade to ALL of the bundles. That means the cheapest bundle now will have it so you can stop bashing them. Gotta wait until 10/16 to receive though. I'm not sure if Ghynghyn mentioned it in his video, but not all your characters will receive all that. On Angmar legendary server, my characters there received everything except for the map carry-all and both of the expedition supplies. The first character on Landroval, my main logged on first and received all of it. So be very careful as always with who you log on first after purchasing. No biggie if you intend on giving alts on the same server stuff, but you are out of luck if you want to move gear/items in between servers.

The trend is that you pay extra for cosmetics, mounts, pets, frames and titles. They probably sell pretty well since they keep doing it like this. Recently they've been adding movement styles and milestone porting animations too. I do wish they had something else for the extra bundles, like a valar package.

£30 for the expansion. The rest are just bundles that you don't need. I used to order them, but the difference keeps growing and I can't justify the extra cost. especially when I already have every class at level cap. I don't want extra slots or virtue, etc.

Thanks for the video, Ghyn. Surprised there's no Valar pack in this one with the higher tier additions of the expansion. I get it for the mini expansion, which are usually cheaper and smaller. But this is being pushed as a full expansion and should have a Valar, imo. EDIT: They're adding them let's gooo!

There isn’t a level increase. I believe the thinking was you could get one from the Corsair xpac. No need to add another if there isn’t a level cap increase

@@forestschneiter5832 While this is true, they've only avoided putting Valar packs in mini expensions, which are cheaper. This is being marketed as a full expansion, is full price, and full price expansion usually come with a Valar for the higher tiers.

Pretty good video thanks. But I wish you would show and talk about all the little things, like the 'scorpion surprise bauble' and 'treasured currency bonus trait', I have no idea what these are and cant seem to find out anything about them. Things like the 'Fateful Gundabad Toolkit' which doubles festival effort are things I would really like to know about. That toolkit saves me a ton of time in festivals.

Too expensive for so little, really the cosmetics don't justify the prices. They should consider give more quality of life stuff like carry-all in lower tiers bundles and LPs like in the Supporter packs. New players have no reason at all to buy the expansion as is.

Since this is an expansion without a level cap, I don't think there's a place for it. My guess is that next expansion in the future would be level 160 and have those kind of items.

The issue is what else is there left? They can't just add to existing areas because why do an Angmar 2 for higher levels? You already did Angmar long ago so it doesn't add anything I'd want to do. We always thought that once everything was released for Middle Earth, this is when the game would end. The legendary servers is what is keeping the game open. If there is no new content, SSG is left with shutting down all non-legendary servers and focusing on them instead. The issue there is it only kicks the can down the road for when those servers catch up to level 150 (I like you, don't care beyond Gundabad). Do you shut them down allowing for maybe a bonus set of items and open new legendary servers and start over? Will a UI refresh be enough to keep people? I really think LOTRO is coming to end in the next 5 years once the legendary servers reach full content. That has been suggested about 3.5 years.

Its a pass for me. The combat always felt meh and the classes are very bland and no urge to unlock the next skill or spell. The graphics were also outdated when the game released so now they are even more outdated.

I am not impressed by this whatsoever for the asking price, the Mirkwood one was so much better, and the animation in the Whimsical, too. This movement style makes the wrist appear broken and the outfits and mounts are nothing special.

They call it an expansion when it's not. No level cap increase, no new game mechanic, no new skills, no new traits, no new trait points, no power increase. 40 dollar quest pack, new reputation grind and couple instances. Weak. :(
