Little history about little metal stove in America. It would be what was called a salesmen’s sample. Back in the day items that would not be safe or too big for the wagon was made in to a sample size. If you bought a product you would get the sample size one too. Among children the stove, pans and dish sets became very popular.

Love seeing all your tiny treasures! And, I can't wait to see where you use them. The quilted carpet looks to be made using the EPP (English Paper Piecing) method of quilting. I've only just heard of this method of quilting and I have seen KZbin videos on the craft. ✌️💜🐀

I get such a kick out of watching the two of you giggle and talk about your Antique and Well Loved minis! Each of your doll's houses are utterly charming and I like the fact that so many of their contents have been accidental finds and/or marked down in a pound drawer which makes them even more precious, especially when they've been on your Mini Wish Lists - WELL DONE Ladies! 🥰

Oh my goodness I would love to go to a dollhouse sale like you went to. I am sure I would end up buying too much and I would need another dollhouse. 😊. I sent you a video on how to make your own cash register but unless you make more stores you won't need another one. Those rugs were beautiful! If you would like to make a cross stitch rug I have patterns I can send you online. I bought the book to make my own but I just haven't done it yet. As for the items you bought for your dollhouses size doesn't matter as long as it will fit in the house. I have all sizes of things in mine. I have tried to send you a picture of my dollhouse but you can't send pictures here or at least I don't know how. Please take us with you when you go to the next sale so I can drool over all of the precious tiny things. Oh and in America we call the hair on your forehead bangs too. LOL

I have that same DOT Cook with Cash cast-iron stove. I have the back piece as well and it’s wobbly, crooked, and the little shelves a cast in a way that nothing will really stay on them, unless you want to wax them on. There’s not much depth to the shelves. Regardless, I love it and always use it in my kitchen. Another brand called queen made similar stoves with tiny little real cast-iron pots, and pans and removable burner covers. They also made it in a larger scale size, and I’m going try actually cooking in it with a tea light! - Margaret in Massachusetts, USA 🖤

My great-uncle made a two-room dollhouse for my mother and her three sisters in the early 1930’s. He used wood from old cigar boxes to make the furniture. Your beautiful wardrobe & bed look very similar - perhaps they too were made from cigar boxes.

When I was a child a woman up the street told me to pick something out of her cabinet of things. I picked a pair of miniature snow babies. They have followed me for all of these decades. I cherish them now as much as when I first saw them. The cup with the “sticks”, reminds me of Churros, which you dip into a cup of chocolate. I did the exactly same thing! I bought a glass thimble thinking it was a miniature glass. Congratulations on all of your wonderful finds and gifts! 😊

The mirror would also look nice on the filigree fireplace. My Grandparents’ home was built between the 2 Great Wars and there was a mirror on top of the fireplace. Grandpa said it was to reflect the light. ( Midwestern U. S.)

What a fabulous fair, so wish it was possible for me to travel to Cobham. Each piece you showed made my heart skip. Can’t believe that my Mums cake always had a snow baby just like yours that was 80 years ago. I like you have tried to track one down that I could afford. I do have the minuscule frozen Charlotte which was gifted to me and she’s in a papoose on a cradle. Those wooden pieces made me salivate can’t wait to see you put them in your wonderful dollhouse. Those rugs wow. Everything wow. I shall watch again just to experience the buzz which nearly equalled your own pleasure and excitement. Yes I’m one of your oldest viewers and dollhouse miniature madwoman. I so wanted you to put the wooded teacup on the bamboo round table.

Hm.... maybe what you need to buy is a "pin vise" (it's a type of teeny-tiny hand-held drill) - then you can drill tiny little holes in things (like the legs of the table you have to fix - you'd drill a hole in each end that need to be linked back together again), and insert a little piece of wire along with the glue, and that might help make the repair a lot stronger and more long-lasting? Just a thought....
