megan was fine and so was her outfit. there was nothing wrong with it. she definately toned it down for them to be respectful of twice but remember they are mid and late 20s

The fact she toned it down and it's still beyond anything I've ever seen from TWICE in almost 10 years is pretty much exactly what I was saying. I don't want this Western crap thrown into K-pop. It's why I don't follow Western music *at all* anymore. I think I've heard PARTS of 3-5 or so Western songs in the last 2+ years and that's mostly just because of IG/Twitter accounts putting them in the background of a TWICE edit or something. It's detestable to me and makes me sick to think about. I know the girls are maturing but there's a level of maturity where you don't have to compromise in order to get people to listen to your stuff.

@@JustinJihyo One of the few Western artists I do like is Billie Eilish! For the most part, she dresses in baggy clothes, but she has obviously expanded as she's gotten older. In the first like 5 years of her career, she basically only wore baggy clothes. Mind you, her debut song Ocean Eyes, released on Soundcloud, was released when she was 13 years old! It started to gain attention on accident because the only reason she released the song was for her dance class! She used to train in dance and was in choir (she featured the same choir in her song GOLDWING) from a young age! She no longer dances unfortunately due to an injury of her growth plate in her hip, which completely took her out of dance. I just love how organic her music is! Her and her brother Finneas write and compose everything that has been released so far! They don't ever work in studios! Her debut album WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO was almost completely done in her very small 2 bedroom house (her parents slept on the couch) in Finneas' bedroom! They literally had no idea what they were doing. They had overflowing creativity because of that! Sorry for the huge Billie rant, but I love her so much! Her and TWICE are my two favorite artists!

I think Megan’s part was actually pretty good. Although it was mature, it wasn’t anything explicit and it’s still very much Twice. I think everything was done tastefully. About her outfit, I’m honestly all for anyone wearing what they want to wear so I seen nothing wrong with it. I’m looking forward to your album reaction because I personally think it’s one of their best albums and I’ll be curious to know which was your favorite

Thanks for the reaction and I appreciate your honesty and true reaction, rather than OVER THE TOP falling onto the floor kind of reaction that SO MANY other youtubers do. Always be honest, and never timid to say how you really feel about any music video or song. Me personally, I could do without Megan as well. I downloaded this video and edited it and cut her part out, and also, when I listen to the album, I will ALWAYS be skipping this song and instead listen to Twice's version of Strategy without Megan. Im not into the modern rap world, its too much thug gangsta rap that elevates and promotes violence, drugs, crime, cop erasing and degrading of women.

I was kind of the same being a little apprehensive about this collab going in. But it BANGS! So much better than expected! I should know better. TWICE never misses!!! I guess i felt Megan's styling was pretty tame for her and i was ok with that. I have seen one music show performance where her part is left out, and it really didnt affect anything for me negatively. She will attract some new fans for Twice, and that's what groups look for in a collab.

I myself don't mind any artist being on the girls Title Track. My only concern was the possibility of cuss words, which thankfully there was none. Now on the Music Shows performance, the girls perform the All TWICE version. Also, During Youngi's Special, which I think is an MBC Special, TWICE were guest and performed their Hits Medley, plus Stragedy with Youngi doing Megan's part.

When the first time I heard that Megan Thee Stallion was going to be a feature in their title track I was like WHY? BUT, I held my opinion until I see and hear everything. Now I think it was okay. The song is a bop of course and Megan's part was frankly really good. It brought another layer to the song tbh, and what she rapped about is her it does not represent the girls, it's her writing and how she is as an artist. There was probably some condition of sorts that for the collaboration to work both needed to agree on stuff like let Megan need do her thing but also tone it down because she's dealing with a different audience. It was hip-hop but the KPop vibe is still there that's why Twice will always be the ultimate GG to represent the genre outside of Korea. For me this will open more collaboration opportunities for them in the future. They're explorng their music and what else can they do, I'm okay with that as long as they're still enjoying it.

Didn't say they were. But if Jihyo shows up in an outfit like Megan had, I'll say the exact same thing. Write it down. I haven't liked some of the music show outfits. But they don't have a history of revealing fits in the same way someone like Megan does. I *hate* Western culture when it comes to "sex sells" and it's part of the reason I was driven toward K-pop. I'm here for the music, if I want to see something like that I'll just go look at someone who's not wearing anything at all.

I agree with you that Title tracks shouldn't have features, that being said I think Megan brought in energy that fit the concept well. I'd still prefer no features in future title tracks but this doesn't make me mad. The way Chae was heavily featured in this song feels like she will be the next to put out a solo. If that is true then it would have been a million times better to have given her Megan's time to rap. Just an opinion, the song is still good, 8.5 for me.

I thought Megan's part was fine, but I don't like her being on the title track either. Don't care for her. Prefer the only TWICE version of Strategy and rather have Megan's feature as a Bside.

The Megan version was supposed to be a B-Side, the Twice version only was supposed to be the title track but they changed it. I think that their strategy was having the Megan version as title track would attract more mainstream audience and make the song more popular globally
