Here is what i did to beat easy mode as a f2p player since the early access : Note that i dont have alicia and any hunter that removes vulcan shield and to be honest it was tough, i wasnt using any water weapon against vulcan btw, so here what i have done to beat vulcan ( assuming your CP around 300k ) 1- MAX your ult to lv 10. 2- Repeat the 2 stages of blessing until u get increase ULT dmg by 20% or above in both stages ( i got 40% dmg ult in total ) 3- my team was cha ( for 12% critical rate and critical dmg buff ) , min ( for the +15% dmg boost, healing and must be equipped with destroyer set to get your ult fast ) , lastly seo ( to break vulcan asap ) 4- what you must do is repair your shadow stap + cha ( or leebora for the buff ) + min buff + ( plum sword skill to give your next hit "ULT" 32% critical hit rate and critical dmg "optional" ) 5- do the fourth step when vulcan is at 15% ( before he does his 20× shield ) so if you do it correctly, u must kill him from 15% to 0% with your ult 6- if you cant win in the previous floor, use nam ( one of the best water and overall breaker unit in the game ) after breaking with nam, switch to your best dps and get rid of them. 7- if your CP is low, u can buy the new 4 pieces artifact ( even if thier stats are sh*t ) level them to 20 and equipped to one of the team member just to increase the total power, u can also switch for example the best ssr hunter weapon to one of the used team member ( for me i have alicia weapon A2 lv 60 from the last event and i let my choi equipped it to increase his total power ) 8- as i said i dont have alicia for purification nor dongsoo or the new cat hunter to remove the shield however, i killed vulcan on easy mode, so if you have one of them especially a hunter to remove the shield thats huge ) I was running a3 scythe and a2 plum both lv 100 , my cha a3 with her weapon a4 lv 80, min a0 with alicia weapon a2 lv 60, seo a1 with her weapon a0 lv 60 ) 9- have a nice day

This is good if you have A1 plum but it is a EXPENSIVE investment if you level 10 your ult so think before you try this guy's strategy. Remember as F2P you have not that much resources to use.

If you're a mobile player, in order to beat the game: 1. An absolute requirement to get a high end mobile device bcoz anything lower, you'll be experiencing lag and crashing that will drastically slow down your progress. Low fps also reduces your damage lol. I'm sure they lost a lot of players and potential millions of $ because of this issue alone in the mobile side. 2. The content rn is worth 4 months of grinding while global players had only 2 months to prepare for this content so expect most f2ps especially the casuals to fail. Early access f2p players should be somewhat ready for the new content, I'm sure they'll beat it within a month if they know what they're doing

I just think they need to give more upgrade chips. Maybe even change the bs rng rates. That 200 tier 2 chips from today literally all went to one piece from lvl 15-20. As a f2p I can’t do nothing else, if I craft it’ll consume many tier 1 then I won’t be able to get the new gear up. However I assume it’ll be fixed soon, gold has tremendously been fixed, so hopefully a way to get more resources will come. The rng, we will be stuck with however. - sorry for the rant, maybe the bad luck is just me

I'll suggest to take bin and meilien as supporter and Alicia for DPS. Like use bin basic and ult for buff as for meilin then switch to Alicia then blaaah ...bhoom ....dabadab.... Gwah....dishum...dishum...goarrr....and daba...daba .. dummmm..... And it's clear💀☝️

I'm an old Gatcha gamer, and although SLA has it's faults, it's actually pretty darn f2p friendly... Yes, there is a resource and skill wall. Yes, it's a grind where your long term strategy on what you invest in is super super important. Stop griping... get better at your gameplay... and pray to the RNGgods you get a good pull at your next artifact.

What I’ve been seing for some time now is that I’m actually a bit further than your F2P account (I’m lv70 rn) but I can do barely any of the things that you can do.. I’m at stage 7 Cerberus, stage 9 arachna, chapter 17 story stuck, hard mode chapter 8 stuck - which surprises me because everything that your F2P account has I have too and sometimes even better. My total power is slightly higher, I have some better As‘ on my hunters and stuff like that but still: I’m so far behind.

Their can be many factors. Weapon level, weapon skill level, runes, blessing, artifacts, or maybe skill level. To be good at the game you need to balance all these things. Im a light spender. And im stuck at chapter 18 boss battle and im in the white. And i still cant beat it. Its a skill issue most likely so GET GOOD

People need to understand that this is a game-mode for whales, meaning that it was targeted towards them since they already finished all the previous content to the max, unlike low spenders and F2P players, who still need to work on the previously released content. Also I;m at chapter 17 last mission on hard and all prev missions are three starred. AND I'm also not a sweaty player just playing arnd 1-2 hrs daily. U just lack skill is all. Btw spend gold and level up whole team artifact to lvl 20 if u want to defeat vulcan on easy. even i have not upgraded all my artifacts to lvl 20 but can still beat vulcan on easy.

Wisdom from a Gacha Veteran: This is completely normal SLA fam. Gachas are a game of patience. Everyone will eventually get to the same place and be able to clear the same content but its just a matter of TIME. Now if you value your time and want to enjoy more aspects of the game earlier than yes you need to pay but that is no different than other parts of life. Not sure at all why people are frustrated as this is completely normal for this type of game and if anything it shows the devs are forward thinking and we keep getting more and more content to strive towards. Patience, if you can't wait then pay. It is that simple.

Its a bit rough since we only get 2 (optional +1) entries per week. Until september we have 8 or 9 more weeks. Meaning people that can only beat cerberus can only get 18 pieces in 2 months. as payne just said there are tons of ways to get gold, i am on two f2p accounts and i have millions of gold constantly never going below it, all because i do what he as suggested aka selling unused lower tier gear and any unused weapons, you know for a fact you get tons of copies of, to get more material to level up your actual weapons it isn't that hard just step back calm down and think, i have been on chapters 13 and 14 respectively on my accounts havent really touched it since launch i just log on do daily stuff and grind then let it all build up, both my jinwoos are level in the upper 50's and 60's in levels same with the other hunters i use constantly

For F2P players: Please keep this in mind. You are not going to clear every content in game if there is a mode made for P2W Players. You may able to beat it if you have played the game long enough, like 1 - 2 years. Just don't expect to beat it on first month unless you are ready to sacrifice your wallet (which I am not recommending you to do). Please be aware that there are limits to a F2P account. If you want to play a game as a F2P and you can do everything and there's no End Game content, Then please go play -> Genshin Impact.

That is fine and all but they still have to do something about the gear at lower levels as the RNG to get the stats you want is too much. Been playing since early access, level 76 I don't have good gear for 90% of my strongest units with decent stats due to how shit the RNG is. You get a gear piece you want but it has such bad stat rolls its unreal. There has to be a way to re-roll stats and its not like Netmarble doesn't have this feature in their other titles. Other then gold this is probably the biggest roadblock so far.

I think it's a perception issue. It feels bad to be hard gated at the first stage of new content. Maybe they should start with easy mode where ftp can clear if they're farming T10 gates. Then, normal mode, what we have now. Finally, hard mode for whales to climb. Adjust rewards accordingly.

I could beat him at 280K.. now at 304K it's practically a cake walk so you're probably doing something wrong Tips: Memorize his skills, breaking is key, use water skills and defense penetration is the most important thing so use extreme evasion EVERY CHANCE YOU CAN

Hello Payneblade, It has come to my conclusion umong others in the community are having a power level error, as shown in the power levels as lited nothing is adding up right reulting in more then a 40k difference in total power as shown in the battle tier. To anyone else experiencing this issue or if there is a resolution to this problem please let me and us know. What's frustrating about the new Workshop of Brilliant Lights is that you can't do "lower difficulty levels" to get slightly weaker gear of the new sets introduced. In Encore/Instance Dungeons, you could at least do Tier 1, 2, 3, etc. to get Rare/Heroic/Legendary gear to help you do more difficult content. But with the Workshop, many people can't even clear the content to get any gear so it doesn't even feel like you will make any reasonable progress since you can't even get upgrades. May's Salvage Project is just a band-aid (and a really bad one at it since the cost to buy pieces is so expensive).

As an f2p I'm not really upset but to be completely honest it really feels like it's a little bit unbalanced 3 tries every week is too little cuz of how hard it is basically as a f2p you'll get 3 pieces a week and it's completely random you might farm this forever to be able to beat the easy mood only this isn't like every other gatcha to be honest at least that's how i feel cuz usually dups don't really matter in other games unlike this game where they matter a lot it's not about skill anymore it's about skill and money again this is just my opinion I'm not really upset or anything and for now i think it's fine but I'm not sure if I'll feel the same after a month or two they really need a least to get rid of the red cp thing that's an over kill and they really need to make switching artifacts free let's be honest this game forces you to build multiple characters and use every single one and i love that but I can't build them all artifact wise especially when I can only get 3 pieces per week and 3 completely random pieces which means if you're not lucky it will take you months to build 1 character with a purple ( not even gold set) on top of that there are multiple sets on the same domain that's a crazy gatcha over there they really need to get rid of the cp punishment and either lower the difficulty of those ( which i don't really want that) or just give people more pulls so they can keep up with the content and i rather giving us pulls on events and stuff instead of sending them and giving them as codes

I was stuck on alot of content until i started payin way more attention to artifacts. Basically Use this example: if your hunter is HP main you need to have level 50-55 gear all at level 20. All pieces should have HP% or Additional HP substat, then you need to get +1 on the HP Stats on all pieces of gear. This trick got my Seo HP all the way up to 27K. Same with Defense hunters as well as Crit and attack based hunters. This applies to Song JinWoo aswell. He scales off attack. I was stuck at 13k attack for weeks until i 3 starred 9 cerb and arrachnid. I farmed until i got gear with a bunch of attack substats. Then i leveled all attack stats on each gear to +1 it boosted my attack from 13k to 20k. Which gave me room to dump like 30 points into precision. Now my Stats are 50% crit rate 150% crit damage 20k attack 95% Precision. These are the kind of stats you need to beat end game without getting timed out. All weapons need to have their skills leveled up as much as possible level 6-7 shpuld be enough to get decent DPS on end game bosses

Beta players, even if its f2p like me should be able to do at least easy mode. I have my Cha e4, Alicia E2, Meilin, etc etc and cant do it and im on cap of lvl, so progress now depends on artifacts that i cant farm. Its outrageous

I still can't do Cerberus tier 8 but can easily farm spider tier 10 3 trophies while being on the red zone. Same thing with story, I have beaten almost every chapter on normal (except the last one) but I'm stuck at the final boss on chapter 10 hard mode (lacking damage).. it's kinda frustrating so I'm not planning on trying this new mode till I can get past that barrier

One thing i have yet to see anyone speak about is what the theme of this anime and game is..its called solo leveling the whole concept of the anime is to grind from level one through the hardest bosses. The game is meant to be grindy because thats the theme of the show the game is based on. Babying the game too much from will take away the purpose and theme of solo leveling. Everything shouldnt be easy and it seems thats what people want. Grinding was what songjinwoo loved the most. He loved to be in rhe dungeons grinding to get stronger.

The problem I have with it is that it was obviously designed with the new sets in mind. I bet once most people get full with the new set easy mode will be beatable. But I don’t see this as endgame content, it’s similar to encore or instances. It’s an artifact farming mode. And you can only get 3 pieces per week if you’re F2P and can only beat Cerberus. I’m fortunate to be lucky and did the 25F mode, so I can get 9 pieces per week if I buy the ticket in the shop. So each week you get the same as a 2x encore run. So getting optimal artifacts will take ages. At least they will up the artifacts drop rate soon, so that should help. But this is a farming mode and some people can’t even do the bare minimum in terms of getting stronger (beating Cerberus).

I think it's better to level up legendary artifacts to check if they are getting any good stats and if not just sell those. So the enhancements wouldn't go to waste that way.

I started a week before global and am already almost ready for second stage. I seen a KZbinr doing it with min Mei and Alicia. And let me tell you I tried that team against encore cerb and it destroyed it. I just gotta get them up my Alicia is at 80k now gotta up some artifacts to push a bit more and then her weapon too for some more cp. She is A1 and I am f2p. I am level 71 btw and there is lots of story I was too lazy to tackle yet so once I do those I should be able to get ready for the second stage next week. So if you are playing since global. With a bit of luck you should be at least able to do it in July dw too much just progress steadily there is no rush.

Dolphin here! I was struggling a lot with the end content, but I remember to check my Hunters and Weapons Skill, and I noticed that I didn't level them lately. From there on the dps was there I just needed to put a bit more effort in my gameplay. Check your lvl on those Skills, and I test some artifact builds for your Hunters!

Payne, i manage to get a blessing where it gives me 3 additional chance to dodge. from 3 bar to 6 bar, which makes fighting Vulcan way much easier. the thing is a spend a little in this game my team is alicia, min and meilin i manage to beat easy mode, im lvl 74, its rng i play on ipad so sometimes when its bugged i cant beat vulcan, but having Meilin is the thing that helps beat vulcan, at around bar 15-20 vulcan will use shield, and if you break it with meilin skill, it went down really fast. i probably spend like $300 in this game, i manage to get a5 alicia, a5 meilin and a3 min, i manage to get both alicia and meilin under 24 multi, im pretty lucky, but weapon wise terrible, dont have resources to fully break em to lv100 and only 2 stars

I'm a light spender but even then I've had good luck with pulls--I do think that there was a huge lack of testing with this mode and devs need to be called out. The fact that we need to do hundreds of rerolls on the buffs just to be able to clear both floor 25 and floor 50 on normal is absurd. It forces us to spend maybe at minimum 3 hours a day to clear get one key over with and that is a fundamental reason why most players spend to begin with, they don't want to spend that much time grinding since they are spending the time earning said money. And to top it all off, you put in all that effort to get what likely is artifact pieces you don't need. Hoping that CCs can help drill that home with Netmarble.

I just about managed the easy mode last night after a good 40/50 straight attempts. I’m a dolphin so ran A1 Alicia and A1 Fisher with A2 Min - roughly 330k so need to put a bit more work in myself, but at the end of the day, this is the closest thing we have to “end game” content so far, it’s not meant to be easy and doable straight away 👍

I just beat Vulcan 5x with 350k CP. I'm semi P2W (Subscription only.) The blessings you'll be needed is balanced buff, monster weakening/reduce hp, break effectiveness, increase ult dmg, extra crit %, basic atk-core increase or healing received (you need a healer support.) Use your blessing stone wisely. Daily Quest is a must, the rest must be damage. About skills you need 2 water breaker. Level it up until 7 or plus for extra dmg. You can use your 2 main weapon or at least 1 water elem, mine is A1 Skadi. For Hunters I recommend Min if you don't have Meilin yet, Seo is must have for shiled extra break and dmg, and Alicia for cc. Make sure you used 2 Ult before 3rd phase, reserve you 3rd Ult when he jump before having getting a shield. Constant Evasion is a must, well you can't perfect it that's why you need a healer. That's it, if it works for me then for you as well. Hope it helps! Ps. I believed it took me 50 attempts to win it all. Hehe

I just started the game so I don’t have any chance to do endgame lol. So I’m just gonna grind and level up. Grabbing units I know are gonna be used during the endgame. But at least this salvage event lets me get close to endgame armor. Even tho the return on salvage is atrocious for low level players.

Even among gacha games, trivializing all existing gear dungeons at this early stage is absolutely brutal. imo they should introduce additional gear slots to let new content drop them. This way people who want to grow still will play new content, but without having the feeling that all dungeons they can comfortablely farm only drop trash.
