We have also fitted a WiTi on our Lotus not sure if you are aware of the setup. There are two setups we just have it for the van. Locks the wheels and alarms if someone tries to move the van. We also have some of that black non slip rubber mat for on the stove top for protection and to give more useable space.

All vans have warranty issues, I run 500w on the roof and 500w on the ground, 3x170amp AGM batteries all victron grear and haven’t had a drama in 7 years. perfect for me. Go to hear a honest review. 🍻🛠🇦🇺

We are about to pick up our first Lotus (Trooper 20’9) in a couple of weeks and can’t wait. After having a couple of dud vans we are hoping Lotus gives us some long awaited confidence in a van.

Great insights and opinions. Well presented video. On the topic of solar, yeah very surprised you didn't get plugs for portable panels. I bought one of the 300w KickAss folding panel set ups to go with a self made 200w panel. With 2 x external plug in points I use them in conjunction with 655w on the roof of my van. Victron 50a regulator. Never run out of power, albeit not running an inverter and "only" 360ah lithium batteries. PS also towing with a Y62 gotta love em!
