Note that this is the second version of this video. In the previous version I had attributed some internal scraping to the function of the shifter but I had actually skipped an important step in adjusting the neutral position of the shifter. I have removed references that were due to my installation issue and added the links to the Dolomiti and Inokinetic KZbin sites below.
I swapped out the ShiftR111 for the Dolomiti shift mechanism in my 2005 Lotus Elise partially out of curiosity but also to see if I could eliminate a buzz in the shifter from transmission vibration. This is a very brief description of the removal of the ShiftR111, installation of the Dolomiti shifter and a small comparison between the two. What I found is that I'm extremely impressed with both mechanisms. Each is very well made and quite nice in function and aesthetics. Both are great products with some differences in details and features.
