Fantastic channel, reviewing the Evs that we've been waiting for, and that are not yet being reviewed by the mainstream channels. I have one of these on reserve in RHD format. Keep going!

I like it. I think the styling language works better here than on the SUV. Let's hope the Lotus buyers of the world like it too. Thanks for the tour. This AI voiceover, if accurate, is pretty conversational in deliver.

I recently made a deposit on an Emeya at Wearnes Thailand after my first visit to their showroom. Despite the showroom's low class and quality, I was impressed by the design and build of the Emeya. After negotiating and making a deposit, the salesperson contacted me a few days later, stating they could not honor the agreed-upon price and needed to increase it. I am very disappointed with Wearnes Thailand. Lotus should not appoint such an unprofessional and unethical company as their sole dealer in Thailand. I’ll wait to see how they respond to this situation. The way they treat their customers is unacceptable. I hope Lotus UK or Geely people will see this comment.

You meant the i4 (not i5) because while the i4 has smaller leg room in the back (my car), the i5 has a lot of leg room in the back and is more comparatively priced to the Emeya at around 100K (the i4 costs 70 to 80K). I have been looking at this Lotus but honestly, the newer Taycans will probably be a safer bet at that price point IF I decide to move away from BMW.

Chinese cars are so well made now. Love the design too.

In this video you state the horse power to be 667 but on the website the horsepower is 603. Has it been increased, which is true 🤔

The Lotus Emeya's futuristic styling is too mannered and too busy. Lots of meandering shapes, lines, and textures without purpose. The front end, though not as ugly as a Pontiac Aztec, isn't a looker either. The attention to details, however, inside and out, are impressive. Quality materials were used. The Emeya looks to be a very well engineered and built car. It's a Lotus, however, so time will tell. I'm not holding my breath.

This ain't it, Lotus. Love the design of the Emira, and the Evija is the most beautiful car in production. But the Emeya and the Eletre are uninspiring. There's nothing about these two that you can't look away from. The tablet screens are a lost opportunity design-wise and the the interiors are just as uninspired as the exterior. Audi, BMW, Porsche, and Tesla all offer better designed products.
