Foreigner was another great classic rock band that was a part of the sountrack of my life. Some of my favourite songs of theirs are "Waiting For A Girl Like You," and "I Want to Know What Love Is." Lou Gramm had a really beautiful voice and he was one of my favourite lead singers. I hope he enjoys his retirement. Thank you very much for sharing this news, Dave.

Lou is one of my top favorite rock artists, along with Jimi Jamison. You can't beat their voices. Huge talents.

The bands and artists we grew up with are calling it a day. Makes me feel a bit sad. As for the rock hall, I believe the Rush members' induction speeches were my favorite, and funniest, especially Alex Lifeson's speech. 😊 As for Lou, I wish him happy golden years, and I hope he invested well.

If the hOf would have done the right thing from the beginning, Foreigner (and other ROCK bands)would have been inducted YEARS ago! hOf is a total joke and waste of time! Glad your back!!!! 👍

No disrespect here and should I even say it. Well, here goes. It's about time. I love Lou's voice but back in his prime when Foreigner was huge. Listening to him today trying to belt out those iconic songs is slightly depressing and can't measure up to what he once was. He's 74 now and his voice isn't what it used to be and I get that. And this goes for many an artist today from the 60's, 70's & 80's who are still out there trying to sing today. Retire already. It's okay to do so. And a lot of classic rock acts should retire without question. Prolonging it just makes it worse especially singing songs that the original singers just can't sing anymore. Such a shame that these aging performers just can't call it quits and let us remember them as they were and not what they've become, a shell of their former self especially voice wise.
