David's almost freestyle abd weary singing where he follows the melody and then sometimes not, and Lou's spoken poetry lyrics filled with ennui make this one of the best damn collaborations ever. I sae them both individually, but would have given anything to see them perform together.

Listened to most of the New York album in the car earlier today. It still sounds good. Always loved the drums on this track but it's all good. And David Bowie's voice. Damn. Saw him on the Let's Dance tour and it was excellent even though I was not that into the album. Never saw Lou Reed but I like his unique style and music.
