Even lou as the interviewer fucks with people, nice

Funny. As an interviewee, Lou was very tight-lipped. As an interviewer, on the other hand, he dominates the conversation. Lou's always been one of my favourite contrarians.

My fav phase of Lou's career...truly is 120 minutes defined. Lou from '82 to the mid 90s is untouchable...still strong until his death but this period is so strong

Why, because he’s acerbic? It’s just music

@@MikeCaz Because Lou is Lou. And any of these "brutal" guys with black and white stylish photos of any era you pray for is nothing compared to him And yes? 'just'? Lol, I can say that about anything, any field of activity is a limited set of moments, but in fact in this case we are not even talking about music

Lou Reed learns the basics of capitalism: LR:"Why'da charge money to get into the event?" A:"Because it costs money to put on." LR: "OK, thats fair enough."

This is just the 'Great Lou Reed' being himself! Lou was brilliant and had a particular style, and not everyone understood him. After all he was "The invincible Lou Reed''

The New Music Seminar was the precursor to SXSW and CMJ. Lou was being a little antagonistic because of his bad experience, but he still respected what the organizers do. Still, i want to see that photo of Lou and Madonna...

In case anybody was wondering why Lou Reed was never hired to host Entertainment Tonight .... Lou grills Josephson pretty hard but to his credit he stood up pretty well. Lou doesn't exactly come across as warm and fuzzy but that is what made him such an interesting character. .

@@Paul47Tat I worked at The Bottom Line during a period when Lou Reed played almost every other month. One night he mouthed off to someone in the audience and after the show, the guy went after Lou and started to beat the shit out of him. The Security Staff saved Lou's ass. For the many months and countless shows prior to that show, Lou was always an arrogant fuck to the staff. A real prick. After that night, he started treating the staff with respect.
