Most NFL players aren’t nearly tall enough that alone disqualifies those ones. on top of that NBA is way more individually skill based especially in todays era there’s no way any football player can switch over and be good enough to play in the league, and learn all the skills necessary at a decent level idc who they are or how much a freak athlete. They’re definitely not scoring any points because they’re 100% not making any shots with a hand in the face. I agree with Lou will I don’t think any from either sport can play the other at the highest level that’s why they chose the sport they in for a reason lmao. But with that being said there’s certain positions in football that don’t require nearly the amount of skill, that I think an NBA player can learn much easier.

Imagine trying to throw a pass with a football to receivers with pen point accuracy and consistency while they’re running at top speed from 30-40 yards away. Now imagine while you’re trying to do that there’s a hand full of 6ft 200+ lbs athletic pissed off monsters trying to take your head off… over and over. I don’t see any of the top point guards currently in the nba being able to do that consistently. Meanwhile most kids with good hand/eye coordination can develop a fairly accurate to decent jump shot with a few weeks of training in the gym. Im actually more of a basketball fan than football fan but ppl truly don’t realize how difficult and how much skill it takes to be a top level football player.
