I clicked this video because I'm doing some Christmas shopping--and felt nostalgic after thinking about buying some games I never played as a kid--like Hot Wheels Beat That! I mean c'mon--the slogan is the name of the game's title. But I'm content on what I'm really gonna get--and that's Hot Wheels Velocity X. Like the other comments say, the challenge used for footage is definitely not the wisest choice. I still say to this day that it was one of the most fun games I've ever played alone and with friends growing up. That game was really, rEALLY good. The game is such a gem to me--and I wish the game was remastered. I played World Race as well, but it doesn't hold a candle to VX to me in the same tier. So now I know to buy Velocity X for myself again. For some reason, I donated the game and sold it off to a GameStop/Vintage Stock a long time ago.. but I still think back about it. One of my favorite racing games for sure. Velocity X, and Excite Truck have been my favorite casual racing games hands down.

Why would you use footage of *Challenge 14* as the footage for Velocity X? Challenge 14 is objectively the worst challenge in Velocity X. I personally would have used footage of one of the races or arena battles from Adventure Mode.

I remember when I was a kid (13 now) so, around when I was 5-6 I had this game. It was a Nestlé Collectible CD Game (of course hot wheels) and I played the shit out of that game, a couple of years now I was trying to get back to the game but I don't know where the CD is. If anyone knows the names of them games so I could search the up, I would be forever grateful! Also what I remember is that of a couple of cars to choose, there was one black car, and the map was some kind of space? There were ramps, dirt, holes, something of that sorts. I think there might have been another car (maybe shark car). That is all I remember. Again thank you to who ever is able to find the game!

Exactly the same for me. They are called Hot Wheels NIght Drift Rubble Ruckus, Street Drift and Dockyard Destruction but I cant find them anywhere to buy online. They and the Hot Wheels games on their website were the first video games I ever played. So much nostalgia!
