Iracebeth Knight the sole that was replaced is now rubber, it is not leather. This red of the rubber is a bit off, but it depends on the cobbler because the one I go to matches the original red perfectly. It will not darken over time, so make sure ask the cobbler to show you the rubber that they use before they use it. If their red is not to your liking you would either buy the rubber yourself and take it when you get your shoes resoled or find another cobbler.
