Since outgoing healing is multiplicative with ATK%, the boost given from an outgoing healing chest piece will only get bigger on a Luocha with more attack, while the value of an ATK piece will get smaller. (Skip this if you aren't interested in the maths) _For example, using a 100% ratio as the heal scaling, and 500 ATK as a base, Luocha with 0 additional modifiers would normally heal 500 hp in this instance. Adding 50% healing bonus in this case would only increase his healing by 250, to a total of 750hp healed, whereas giving Luocha 100% more ATK (ATK scales with Base ATK, so this would add 500 ATK), would push his healing up to 1000 hp._ _However, if the same Luocha already had 1500 ATK (500 base and 1000 from other sources- say, relics for example), 50% healing bonus would add 750 hp to his healing for a total of 2250 hp, whereas 100% more ATK (again, ATK% scales with base atk, so this would still add 500 ATK), Luocha would only be gaining 500 hp to his heal, for a total of 2000 hp._ This gap only increases further the more ATK Luocha has, meaning if you're already running ATK% boots, and ATK% Planar Sphere, you'll get much more value out of an outgoing healing bonus chest piece than what is shown in the video, since this Luocha appears to be using speed boots and a DMG bonus Sphere, meaning he has the minimal amount of ATK you could recieve from relics. That being said though, Luocha already provides enough healing for the current content even without an outgoing healing chest piece, so unless they add more content that requires more heals from his talent, it's not really necessary to use an Outgoing Healing piece, even if your Luocha already has over 4000 atk.

if there’s future content that requires Luocha to heal even more, i don’t think he will get to heal in the first place, right now he already heals like most of the health bar anyways, if the future content hurts even more, it’ll probably straight up just oneshot/delete your characters.(to be fair)

@@theneighborskid. nah, when I say content that requires him to heal more, I'm referring to his talent, not his skill. More healing won't benefit his skill regardless since it always goes to full with just a little bit of investment, but there's still a lot of room for his talent to heal more.

@@theneighborskid. Maybe, but I'm referring to battles that will require him to heal more outside of his turn, or battles that require a lot of AOE healing. For example you're fighting Cocolia, and she has her nuke ready. You know your team is about to get wiped in the next turn because everyone is at half HP, you're not on your Luocha's turn so you can't use his skill, but you have his healing field up. In this case, an Outgoing Healing chest piece could be the difference in ending or saving your run, since having an ATK chest piece might not provide enough healing to survive the next attack with his talent.

unless later content hits extremely more harder, the current Atk-based healing with Abyss Flower does its job enough to not need the Outgoing Healing Boost.. I kinda like the playstyle of Luocha contributing more DPS even if it's just slight

so far with an Outgoing Healinf chest, it has been fine for me because my ATK% is also decent with the chest having ATK% and Flat ATK. My boots are Speed too so that I can get the bonus from the 2 set Herta Space Station relic

It doesnt work like that, atk% is the scaling meaning its added at the begining of the calculation while outgoing healing is added later therefore being more impactful similar to damage bonus

Outgoing healing aways better than the other atribute if you want to heal. Think in "outgoing healing" as "damage" for a dps character, damage increase is better than atk increase.

so i got luo cha e2, with 107 pull, his e1 make 20% atk bonus when talent appear, and his e2 makes ally gain shield if heal when the have 60% more hp.... but its a shame that the auto heal dont give the shield. yeah i build him as sub dps since the heal is very good

My atk luocha can heal 2.5k without any healing bonus so its a bit overkill if i do add some since thats about 80% hp of high level characters

Looking at Luchoa's skill gives people too much confidence to F around with Luchoa's build. Luchoa is a tempo healer, if you get pressured in MoC you will die and you will wish your Luchoa was fully heal based. His skill just has a giant modifier, his talent healing is the real concern.

Been seeing ppl saying a lot a not full heal built luocha will get everyone killed as soon as he’s CC’ed, but what bugles me is if this is consistent or are ppl building him this way to not have to reset the few times he is imprisoned, in my experience him getting CC’ed is rather the exception than the rule, I don’t know if happens to everyone tho

My Luocha has 35 res+70 from his talent so he is basically immune but yes I do use 40% heal boost chest piece and heal 3.9k with skill and 1.3k with his field

imo, atk is better coz sometimes if in example you use asta which her talent is to buff allies atk by 4.~%/stack, so in this case if we talk about the real battelfield, we could indirectly buff luocha's healing too

Wouldn't outgoing healing would still be better? Since Outgoing healing is multiplicative that Atk bonus would increase his healing even more because you have outgoing healing? And sure he have high attack scaling but that's not really the reason why you bring him in your team.

No, not really. He is not a tank, really - he does not have any aggro skills in his kit, so it would be far better to just pour into attack - and even if your dps gets attacked, all the characters will regain full health in 1 turn

There’s a few options, for comfortability go for out going healing. You’ll more than likely reach a good threshold of atk if you run two piece of wild wheat with an atk% orb + some atk substats. If you want to have some damage while healing go crit. You can already see that there’s a minor gap with the aoe heal. With exception of the skill, healing about around 300-400 difference isn’t that significant considering that his skill alone can fully heal you. I run crit just fine and his healing is sustaining. TL:DR, outgoing healing for comfort, atk% (body piece) isn’t all necessary, crit for more damage.
