For the caterpillar 6nz I think each cylinder has a solenoid but i think you should do some more research to see troubleshooting to actually see which one it is because sometimes it is just one giving trouble

Okay they are three solenoids because they are only three jake brake racks on the caterpillar 6nz so one of them it either not grounding properly or maybe it’s weak
