Oh, it’s this one. I use the route regularly and this is the worst one in the batch IMO. It’s like 8838’s YJV (another one with a nice common flywheel) but way jerkier. Surprisingly, it doesn’t sound as bad here. At least it lost its hoover.

YJV must’ve been fixed as I last saw it 3 months ago and when I rode it to get to Hounslow Road/Hanworth it sounded perfectly fine!

​@@BusesFromHanworth I never said YJV was bad. I meant YKA. These batch of buses really vary. Some are terrible like YJP (8833), YJR (8834) & YKA (8842), some are fast. Some have a loud common flywheel (hear 2:41) such as YJO (8832), YJU (8837) (now destroyed), YJV (8838) & YKA (8842), most don't.

@@BusesFromHanworth I last went on YJV a few weeks ago and it sounded fine to me. Btw; its not VOR. I think you meant YJP which is VOR. That one sounded terrible with bad brakes. One driver even told me one time he hated that particular bus. Personally, I would be glad to see the back of that one if its been withdrawn early. TF seems to favour the 12regs over the 64regs. Even BYU (59 reg) is still around.
