Here's a question from an old Boomer,,, I have 4. 6.5 hcca 4 xtr 1" dome tweeters Crossed over at 150 to10k I have A 750XTR On the front stage A 490XTR on the backstage,, The mids and highs are loud enough to cut you in half 2' away from the truck,, So why are you young bucks doing this to your door panels I don't get it

I'm an old head myself. I had a guy I know that worked at Parts Express here in Ohio, and about 7-8 years ago, we were getting PRV 6.5's from him, for like $15 a piece. I ran 4 in each door up front, and some of my older silk domes. I didn't run them but a few months, as I am not a fan of the "PA" sound that they produce. He went on to work for PRV and moved a few years back. Still tries to get me to use the product, but I'm just not a fan. I'm not knocking the product, just isn't my thing. I'm as loud, and cleaner with my old MB Quart's.
