Incredible video! So sad, that most of the climbing areas there are closed now.

What? Why are they closed?

@@tobiasbjarko7990 There are many places around the Grampians / Gariwerd area of cultural significance to the local Indigenous groups. The area contains rock art dating back tens of thousands of years. Some areas are closed temporarily for assessment, some have been closed permanently. Most are still open.

@@tobiasbjarko7990 Yes, there isn't much of an aboriginal presence in Tasmania due to historical reasons (massacres etc.) so climbing isn't as restrictive down there.

Love watching these two, always great inspiration and really enjoy that it's more about the experience than the grades. I watch their video of devil's tower all the time!

When was this filmed? As far as i know most of the Grampian areas are mow closed. A shame tlhe film makers dont acknowledge that. The same political dynamic that has caused that catastrophe for clinbers in Australia exists jn north america too, especially Canada

It amazes me and kinda annoys me how these videos show the amazing climbing in the Grampians etc….yet fail to mention the massive closures and bans of these world class crags….regardless on when this was filmed. The film was released 2 months ago and could easily mention the Grampians is now affected by huge closures of crags.

when was this filmed? the fox boulders are banned. kindergarten is banned. taipan wall is banned. mt fox is banned. hollow mountain is banned. and yet you climbed over all of it. these are areas of significant cultural heritage to our indigenous population and parks VIC has banned all climbing in these areas.

So significant that you never actually meet indigenous people there. Don't get me wrong, if an area was used as a burial place or something like that I'd understand not wanting tourists climbing all over it - but closing massive areas for a single piece of rock art!? Imagine hundreds of years from now a bunch of chinese-australians started wanting to preserve all "white-man" art, and banning trains from running past any fence or wall with faded graffiti on it. Utterly preposterous.

The big thing that has always pissed me off about sportclimb crags is the utter disrespect towards others in the bush as well as the rock itself. Big white smears and shiny ringbolts every couple of meters. It Looks absolutely atrocious. And these days the music being pumped out drowning out and disturbing the wildlife all the while going on about the environment. The Hypocrisy 😂😢
