The owner is absolute Naive. I have owned Rapid in the past and now own a Creta CRDI, Baleno, Ciaz and Honda City. When the turbo of my Rapid broke down after 1,00,000 KMS, I did extended research and found out that the problem of turbo breaking down was usual with the VAG diesel engines and knows as * Ambulance Noise *. That Turbo Costed around 2 Lakhs Rs back in the day. When I had to give my Baleno (VDI) for service after a while, out of curiosity, I enquired the price of new turbo and they told me it costed 20,000 Rs but they have never received a baleno with a faulty turbo yet. So cost of a product isnt proportional to quality. A lot also depends on Scale and Tactical decisions made by the brands. Torque converter is still used by a lot of brands even now. It coms in Innova and VW and Skoda cars like Taigun, Slavia and Virtus. Mostly because it is more reliable than the Infamous DSG. If you go by that logic, most of the basic technologies used in any car are 60 years old. Also I dont know where he gets the confidence to claim that 1.5 sal bad start stop button kharab ho hi jata hai, Mine is running well after 3 years now. Verna is more expensive because it gets you more features. 2nd base of Verna would get you more features than Ciaz and the fit and finish of verna in terms of interior would be way better. Whatever you say about the build quality of the cars, their internals are absolutely top notch and reliable. There is a reason no one would buy your VAG but a ciaz can be sold for fun at 12 in the midnight.

Having a better spark plug and hoping it will improve performance is baseless and absolute bickering. Spark plug has 1 job - to ignite. When will it ignite depends on the timings. A typical spark plus can "easily" last 20-30k kms. Higher priced spark plugs usually are costlier due to lower clearance and higher quality material which is needed to spark more efficiently. Using a low clearance plug can actually reduce performance and having a higher quality plug makes no sense given that a plug is so cheap and can last 20-30k easily. It's the same as using a high octane fuel in a normal economy car hope that it will increase performance or longevity - on the downside it can actually cause misfire and also in case there is any performance gain it will be so negligible it will be ignored and a waste of money.😂😂😂 Gaadi bahut R&D ke baad banti hai - everything is considered, calculated and then put into production.

I own a 2018 manual ciaz. Due to extended warranty I got my car serviced for 5 yrs from maruti service center only and somehow the minimal service costed me around 15-17k everytime. This time I got my car service from a private service center, I upgraded my engine oil to liqi moly, added caratec, had some cosmetics related service like interior detailing and headlight buffing and even after this my service bill was just 9k. I wouldn't recommend anybody to get their car serviced from the service center. Rather get it serviced from a private service center and get a proper bill from them (without gst to save tax cost) so that you can show the service intervals of your car in case you need to sell it in future.
