Nardwuar stayed in character and continued to roll out new questions while the band, one of which is clearly coked up, try to bully him. @@nope-z5y Yeah he wasn't really like that 20 odd years ago, he wasn't the lovable Nardwuar of today. He was often deliberately provocative and in this instance he kept mentioning Damons ex girlfriend which is obviously going to piss him off and why Damon is just refusing to answer any questions when the actual interview starts. Dave Rowntree was off his rocker on coke and is staring him down because he's pissed his mate off. Blur haven't behaved like that in any other interview so it's not like it's their character to do so. If you look back at Nardwuar interviews from the 90s and early 2000s you can see loads that are really tense and the musicians are cagey and a bit pissed off.

I was literally just thinking, you guys should do a list of "Times That Techs Filled In For Their Musician." For example: Charlie Benante's drum tech filled in for him for a bit while Charlie was off playing with Pantera. Or how Reed Mullin's drum tech took over for him in Corrosion of Conformity after Reed passed away in 2020. I think this would be a good list, and gives techs the credit they deserve.

A lot of it really isn't embarrassing. A lot of them are showing the frustration and rightfully so. Answering the same questions that you had answered several times before in other interviews. People trying to get a rise out of you and asking personal questions. Imagine that over and over again, especially if you are at a press heavy event. It would grind anyone's gears after awhile.

I always felt like Beck wasn't ever trying. But i really liked his advanced sound when it dropped in 90's. ~Some sounds are a lil ahead of their time like Beck and others are waaay ahead like Beasties & Licenced to ill. ~~1998 My roomates brother in-law was this diehard beastie's fan and gave this huge breakdown to a whole room full of us about the slang words in 'Licensed to ill' were slang that we didn't even start using until well into the 90's... ~i don't think this can really be done today because most GenX will blur the lines of what year we started saying "paper" for money or "Playing the wall" for foot up posted up on a wall.. ~Man i still miss hearing Paul's Boutique in my car back then w/ two punch 12's in the trunk... Same thing w/ And Justice for all. Totally different sound w/ all that quality & bass behind it.. GoodTimes 10/10

Only Chris Cornell and Nick Cave come across cool here. The rest make me never want to listen them ever again, and the interviews make THEM look like they should be embarrassed. Worst offenders, Blur, Beck, Clown, Hank. Geez, they are all jerks actually.

Clown is definitely a clown. Had zero clue that he was being trolled by a comedian. Mitch had him in the palm of his hand.
