Freaking amazing…Yes, Nevada-Ireland connection….Rocky Mtns have more then we think here to be found….San Luis Valley Co. has quite the overlapping history here that local N American chiefs will not claim. Still researching for similar Rossette carvings , but just smaller serpent granite mounds, poss. burial Mounds and bat cave in area under summer solstice notch to be investigated. Hope everyone is checking there local area.

We go there quite often. Amazing place! And you can actually visit cairns on the other side as long as you keep away from the left side of the wall. We've been there and it's absolutely stunning.

The serpent climbing up the steps is also like that pyramid structure in Mexico! And those pitted holes on the rock carving inside remind me of an old Naga snake carved in Thailand they did the same pitting to imitate snakeskin ...very cool!

If Ireland was not invaded by the English somewhat 800 years ago I’d bet locals would have known more about these sites than any piece of lidar will ever reveal. It’s such a pity we don’t know more.

The connection with the petroglyphs in Winnemucca is absolutely surreal, separated by possibly 10000 years yet appear to have been done by the same people and thousands of miles away across a vast ocean. I think it brings into question the dating methods of these places, how trustworthy can the dating really be ?

A celestial calendar. Mapping the movement of celestial bodies with spheres of different diameter, and color. That's some serious mathematics. The first cairn resembles the shape of cygnus, but you have undoubtedly pointed that out in an earlier video.

Perhaps these cairns weren't cairns in even more remote antiquity. Some theories suggest, for example, THE pyramid at Giza was originally something else BEFORE it was a pyramidal structure. And just like at Carnac, France, how can anyone legitimately explain how structures like this were created when the time frame suggested by most academics is circa 3,000 B.C.E. and all population models for that period indicate that there was LESS than one human for every square mile of terrain! The Aurignacian culture might have built these for all we really know. It's distressing that we aren't more interested in our past, as a species. Great video, by the way!

The GREAT PYRAMID was obviously, and incredibly, constructed AS A PYRAMID. All pyramids must have flowing water beneath them, so DUH - it was Mother Earth before it was built upon. Obviously our ancestors or those who pre-date us were very clever & more advanced than we are today. WE CANNOT EVEN REPRODUCE a small pyramid - pretty strange & pathetic when you think about it! cheers

"You can see it for miles around"...exactly. A landmark. Perhaps the charcoal remains inside are of the keepers -- not necessarily V.I.P.s. But this could be a meeting site, and one that can't be missed. PRACTICALITY was the name of the game, all else came second. Speaking of practicality, so many sites, one after another that I view online, say clearly to me "water management, water procuring", through the sustainable system that Nature provides.

Maybe it is simply art, doodling. When there was down time, why not? And everyone could contribute, all inhabitants, over time. Sometimes, we inject too much "meaning" into things. Definitely something to think about, but we should think of the simplest reasons for why these drawings, etc. exist.

The Serpent and the twin spiral. There was diffusion but you don't actually know from where. Just because it was more concentrated in one area doesn't exactly mean it was from there. Take a look at modern Korea and Japan. They use more up to date technology than the States but it was from the States this tech originated from. I'm not knocking anyone, it's just an observation.
