This song hit home this week, as my best friend and life partner took his life. I feel like he had all the same questions, the same thoughts, that were portrayed in this song. It’s heartbreaking, and at the same time, it feels like it was posted at the perfect time. I only want to say that, sometimes the pressure you put on yourself is more than anything anyone else expects from you. Be the best version of yourself and know that there are many people who love you, without any social pressures, and they need you to be here, probably just as much as you need them right now. Don’t be afraid to reach out, and I pray that we can all overcome these feelings of expectations and only wanting a way to escape. ❤

Wow. Thank you for this heartfelt comment. I’m so sorry for the loss of your life partner. I can’t imagine the pain you’re feeling right now. I hope he’s at peace. 😞 The pressure is immense when people’s harsh thoughts and opinions get in to your head and then you end up pressuring yourself to fulfill their wishes when it isn’t even your own. And believe me change is great if it’s for the better but it wasn’t in my case cause I wasn’t being myself. I strive to be the best version of myself every day through God, self care, love and motivation by friends and family, and telling myself everyday that I matter. And of course what would I do without music in this world? And also it’s comments like yours that help me keep going. Seriously I really appreciate the love and kind words. I was teary eyed when I read all of this. I pray that you experience more happy times and miracles in your life. You really deserve that. All the love you can get! And I’m so glad you found some connection with my song. This is why I make music. Thank you again! 💙🥹

I became aware of this massive talented young man because my husband met him getting chlorine and said to listen. I was incredibly surprised and amazed at his beautiful voice and lyrics.
