Couldn't agree more CT. Louie is the best DJ on the planet but you wouldn't know it here in the States, zero appreciation for the deep soulfulness of his talent and of course the ignorance of said talent spreads to all dance Dj's that spin soul house music. But on the other hand if a Dj spins Techno or EDM their treated like kings/queens all around the world; I wouldn't mind that type of recognition if those particular Dj's was spinning a genre of dance music that had substance. I know I'm generalizing and this doesn't hold true for every subgenre but basically-bottomline >EDM has very little musical creativity, if you've heard one track then you've basically heard 'em all
