”I’m Mr Armstrong” For sure a true introduction of the greatest muscian of the jazz era. A great founder of modern music.

When I started taking my History of Jazz Class in College, I never realized how beautiful these pieces of History can be. Finding a corrected version of this made it even better

Thank you for making this new synced version. It basically accounts as a restoration. I'm getting more from these performances than ever before. Armstrong's trumpet playing is so beautiful on I Cover The Waterfront.

This performance of Dinad brings tears of joy - such soul and swing; Armstrong takes us to higher place. Notice the smile on the tenor sax player at the end ( he looks like Coleman Hawkins!)

I love how for when he is introducing I Cover the Waterfront, Armstrong calls the tune 'one of the good old good ones for you', despite I Cover the Waterfront only having been written that same year!

Met Met Luis backstage at a concert in '55 in Indianapolis, Indiana. What a guy. He has been an idle of mine for years. Gene Krupa an Buddy Rich were a part of it........
