honestly i think hes the top. i cant think of anyone even close to better than him. And nobody better say chappelle because chappelle barley tells jokes anymore. Burr has declined since he had a kid. Who else is there?

It's definitely between Louis and Chappelle. Those guys are top 5 alive, and minimum top 10 of all time. Connolly's alive, bless him, but he's essentially retired. And I agree with the guy above me: Chappelle spends a lot of time whining about PC people who were never really in his audience (or any actual comedian's audience) to begin with. Neither abide by PC conventions; the difference is that Louis lives it and Dave performs it.

@@intello8953 Watch his early specials + the chappelle show. Then watch his netflix specials. Theres an obvious decline. Political jokes are fine but its pretty obvious hes not doesnt put the same amount of effort he used to into making it funny like he did earlier in his carrer. he even acknowledges it in one of his netflix specials and blamed it on getting older. he may be "emperor" to you, but I dont know any funny emperors. I just dont think hes the funniest living comedian. If you asked in like 2005 then it wouldve been a discussion. and lets not forget his 10+ year long hiatus from comedy when he was at the peak of his funniness.

1. Louis CK 2. Dave Chapelle 3. Mitch Hedberg (Not recommended really for a reaction channel) For me personally these are the only 3 comedians I can watch on repeat and never get tired of their bits. Mitch Hedberg is definitely not for general audiences and to many he was a hack but I can't get enough of him. He doesn't touch my top 2 in terms of incite on the human condition. Louis is the best ever in my opinion. When doing these reactions people (obviously) give you the stuff they want to see you see but it can make people think his entire shtick is about race when it isn't. I also think he's better to take in with his entire set cuz he is good at wrapping it all together but this is a reaction channel so obviously you can't do that.

When he says the slavery thing, and then rambles on about them clapping, he's just playing with the tension. He's waiting for the right moment of tension to be built up to the right amount where he can drop the line and release the whole room's tension at once. It's such a fucking artform and him and Chappelle are the best at it right now
