I've been watching this video intermittently for years. How does this have so few views unbelievable? Matt you are sick. One of very few drummers who actually plays something completely different in almost every song. Not my favorite drummer for no reason that's for sure

7:08 watch how the bass player starts to tap his feet and bang his head to "counteract" Garstka's (the drummer's) metric modulation in his head so he can hold the lick he's playing over the new pulse. World class, that was so sickk. I wonder if that drum part was rehearsed or if Matt just improv'd it. If it's the latter, more kudos for the band holding it together, that was mind-warping!
