I have to say for all the ppl out there that insist on scales and over think bass till it's a fkn chore.... this can't be taught... plenty of ppl can thump... but not like this.... this is fun... you gotta throw fun into things...not make it a damn job for new comers...that's what scares them away...that and bass's set up poorly. Thumping is what the original term for playing funk with your thumb instead of the now word (slapping).
