She was too fixated on Hardman at the time and had trust issues which prevented her from coming to the realization that having Louis as a loyal ally could have been to her advantage. Had she promised him that he would be the next senior partner right then and there, she would have earned his complete loyalty.

I really like the dynamic between Harvey and Louis. It's like the cool brother and lame brother dynamic. Harvey: the cool, popular, handsome quarterback brother that everybody loves. Louis: the uncool, not so popular, average/below average nerdy D&D brother that only a mother could love. They joke, they tease, they jab, they argue and the fight. But when the chips are down on either side, the other always has their brothers back and when the chips are down on both sides, they always standing shoulder to shoulder in the mud.

this is where louis got my respect years ago. i understand racheal marrying a royalty messed up the plot so bad, but biggest plot hole is none of those battle hardened beasts created by louis showed some loyalty and succeed at the same time. katrina wasnt there since first year, harrold left the firm but succeed. like not even 1???? really?? he was supposed to be the great yoda. quirky teacher that creates legends.
