Gefeliciteerd met de prachtige uitvoering, maar zeker ook hulde aan de geluidstechnicus! De viool heb ik zelden zo warm en briljant gehoord; de altviool echter heeft, zo lijkt het, iets meer te lijden van een ‘filter’ wellicht, want het is een schitterend instrument! Maar ik weet: in dergelijke ruimtes en acoustische omstandigheden zijn zulk een instrumenten, opname-technisch, heel lastig te registreren...dus nogmaals: proficiat! Vraagje aan Marc: hoe groot is uw altviool? En welke bouwer, als ik vragen mag?

Dank u wel. De altviool is inderdaad een prachtige instrument. Filosofische en diepe klank. Mijn altviool is gebowed bij Leroy F. Geiger in Chicago, 1951.
