hey everyone!!!
first off i’d like to start off by letting you know how excited i am that i finally have a channel intro!! yay!
i hope that home playing on repeat didn’t get annoying 😬 (how could it though? such a good song!)
anyways, i’d like to clarify a few things about this video.
i’d like to start off by saying that not everything stated in this video is necessarily louis “queer coding.” there are also moments of louis showing support to the lgbt community, and a lot of lyrical analysis taking place. i obviously cannot fit that all in the title which is why i am clarifying that here lol.
i’d also like to say that i am in fact a member of the lgbt community and i have done a lot of research on queer coding and louis in general. (basically i’m saying i’m not just a straight person making things up LOL)
another thing. while talking about louis’ lyrics i mentioned “his partner” plenty of times. YES OFC i’m talking about harry, but i really wanted this video to just be about louis and not make it about larry. 🥰

whatever any of the boys decide their orientation or who they like or who they want to be we will always support them, while they can always feel like they will get ridiculed if they do and that is the sad thing. we just have to hold on to what we know and if he is officially straight, so be it. we still love him (goes for everyone) if he is gay we will still love him, if larry was a thing (WOOT!) and we will still love and support him. all of the things i just said applies to everyone!

I´m a Louies who was uneducated (never rude or hateful just ignorant on lgbtq culture). It really started with sbb and rbb and afterwards I started LISTENING to what Louis has to say. Well, am I happy u made this clear? Louis knew to managements 'rules' with 1D and was descreat about it, but wow, did Louis show the world and I just love this. Harry and Louis had a very tight bond in the beginning of yrs in 1D...questions Harry got from different journalits about him and Louis he in a silently way nodded yes or said it straigh out the were together. Love Harry for always been open. Walls is a brilliant album in so many ways. Many of the lyrics goes direct to his honesty that Harry is the one, and always was. he signed the contract with syco that kept him closeted for 10 years. it’s not going to be easy to ease back into freedom. i feel like he’s testing the water with the queer coding, seeing how people will react. he’s faced a lot through out his late teens and early 20’s and he’ll come out in his own time and when he’s comfortable. for now all we can do is hope he knows we support him.

it’s just that management won’t let him come out because, (what i’ve heard someone say) if he’s gay hes ‘not gonna be as successful’ because people (girls) who believed he’s straight and isn’t a true fan will stop supporting him because he’s now gay and most girls have this dream to be with their celebrity crush right but if their celebrity crush is gay then that obviously can’t happen so fake fans will stop supporting him and management won’t make money and it could be a big downfall for his career and it’s a big thing in the music industry. And especially now for louis that his solo music is doing well and successful, management won’t just let him come out, i don’t know everything about closeting but i do know that it’s common in the industry. it could possibly be ‘lack of support from his girl fans’ but there is a lot of people who support even with the possibility of him being gay so i think it’s just that management won’t let him be out because they think that it could be a big risk for his career and them losing money but he should be able to make his own choices but unfortunately that’s now how it works(sorry what i’ve said is so confusing i know) but yeah basically what’s holding him back is management and all the contracts his under stating he cannot come out
