It’s even more sad because his sister passed away a few days after he released it and in the end of the song he Sings “We'll end just like we started Just you and me and no one else“ because he was his mothers first child and he thought that he will be the first one to pass away from his siblings and it’ll be just him and his mother again it makes me so sad :(

Not gonna lie, the part "we end just like we started, just you and me and no one else" hits different because Louis is the oldest kid and Johannah (his mother) was very young ( I think 18?) when she had him; and then the fact that his parents got divorced when he was just ten days old...mother and son were just the two of them...
