Hi, thanks for doing this thorough video. I'm know I'm a bit late to the party, but I've been considering this bag for the past 6 months. I want to get one but can't decide on a color. Originally, I wanted the Quartz, but now realize, like you stated, that I don't want to spend this much on a white bag with limited usage. So, I'm leaning towards the black as a nice everyday bag. But, there is something about the honey color... When you had the black one temporarily did you still think it was a good option? Thank you for this detailed helpful video of the Buci which is what helped me decide to buy this bag in the beautiful Dragonfruit as a pop of colour for Spring/Summer because all my other bags are either neutrals or LV mono/DE. You’re so right about aligning the closure to avoid the uneven look and I also switched out my dust bag from the too tight one they sent. I just love the 3 different ways of carrying this bag from short to long shoulder and crossbody as it’s so versatile. I even got the silver chain to dress it up :)

Thanks for watching! The LV buckle is an enamel plaque and mine is pretty scratch resistant and doesn’t look like it would peel off. However I imagine if you got another color where the enamel buckle is black I imagine that if you got scratches on it, it might be more apparent

I did see the pink color in person - it was a beautiful vibrant pink but I personally don’t wear colored bags. One thing to consider is that it’s a very spring/summer color so it’s not as versatile in the fall and winter. I think the gold honey is a neutral that can be worn year round and I wear it with black all the time!

I love the color of this bag. If I had money I would buy this bag. It can be daily use and you can also use it to parties because of small size . I think it is a great price for LV leather bag which go up to 4000 or 5000. I unfortunately cannot buy any luxury bags. So I am happy with some bags like Kate spade and coach bags which I have.

Hi, torn between the Quartz or this Honey Gold Buci. What made you decide to go with this color? Is the quartz color a creamy white one? How do you think is the color transfer?Thanks so much!

I loved the Quartz and was really tempted to get it. I know that epi leather is durable but over time I just didn’t see it wearing as well as Honey Gold (for example as I mentioned in this video the strap isn’t epi so that would probably be pretty susceptible to color transfer). I just couldn’t see myself spending that much money on a white/cream bag and have realized that if I want a white bag I’ll stick to more contemporary brands. The Buci and epi is carefree so I felt like getting it in white would defeat the purpose and I would have to baby the bag. I have a white Coach Cassie and the white hasn’t worn the best so I was hesitant to buy a luxury white bag. If you really want a white/cream I just featured some alternative options in my last video under $100 if you wanted to try the color out! Hope that helps!

I personally really like how the strap is and I don’t see it wearing the bag down. If anything epi is super durable! If the straps were similar to the Chanel WOC you would potentially see a bowing of the bag where the edges tilt up due to the tension but I don’t see it happening with this bag!

Loved your review, I just purchased this bag well priced in Golden Honey, she was so beautiful bag spacious fitted a lot of thing also made from strong quality EPI leather, I had no issue any crooked or uneven with this bag as the other people said before, I just bought this BUCI bag from LV store and I have checked it carefully even the front flap and the back side all even. It can use all functional bag and you also can use as everyday bag, I hope the price will not increase up as a big piece of this full leather LV bag :) 😘🧡

I have been trying to find info for this bag since it came out and because I don't have a store around me, my only way to see it is on youtube. I've been debating between black and honey (I know, everyone is:), I think I like the honey but my only thought is, this colour looks on pictures and camera more mustardy brown and I am not sure if this particular shade would go with the camel colours in my wardrobe. Did you exchange the black purely because you had lots of other blacks in your collection, and if you hadn't, would you have gone for the black or you just think the honey is better?

No problem, hope it helped - I was looking for a video like this when I first wanted to get the bag as well. I wear a lot of browns and this bag matches pretty well, and I would say lighting does effect the color of the bag but that the photos on the website are pretty fair. I only exchanged it from black to honey because I had too many black bags and I thought this caramel/honey color was much more unique (you can always get another black bag but you can’t always find a color like this!) let me know if you have other questions!

I agree that the Buci is at a great price point. I just got it in black and love it. I was also considering the Favorite or the newer style Lockme bb, but decided on the Buci. I love the simplicity of the style and how fresh the Epi looks with silver hardware. (I do believe the Dauphine price is justified due to the craftsmanship and labor required to make it. There is a lot of gorgeous leather in the gusset folds and is as rugged as an army tank)

To me it’s still very comfortable and I don’t mind it at all. The positioning of the bump falls on a part of the shoulder which isn’t uncomfortable for me personally. If you’re close to a LV I recommend trying it on to double check!

The bag being crooked is not because of the bag, its what you stuff inside ur bag. The flap is only held by one point (the lock), the contents can push out the flap which make it looks crooked.

Definitely, however I have seen some unboxings where even when the bag is empty the flap is crooked. Guess it depends on the bag but yes if you overstuff one side it will be lopsided

Personally think this is a better buy. I’m assuming you’re referring to the canvas multi pochette but I feel like that piece isn’t as trendy as it used to be versus this is a classic bag in full leather so it’ll stand the test of time. I like how you can also dress this bag up with a chain, whereas canvas is almost always casual. Also in terms of value I just don’t see myself paying that much for a canvas piece, but go with whatever you think you’ll use more!

I really like this bag but sadly I had to return it as the front LV logo felt flimsy and scratches easily. After a few wears the scratches would get on my nerves :(

@@k112an1 interesting! I feel like the black one would receive scratches the most easily out of all the colors. I’ve been pretty careful with mine and nothing so far. This new larger enamel LV logo is pretty recent so there’s unfortunately not much info as to how these will wear over time.

Yup! I have the iPhone 11 and it comfortably fits. I try not to actually put my phone there too often in case it stretches out the leather but that’s my own preference!

Hi Yuan, I’m traveling and unfortunately will not have the bag with me for awhile to weigh, but I would say it’s about a pound - it’s a very lightweight bag as the epi leather is light and there aren’t any excessive chains that would weigh the bag down.
