The difference in color of your Damier Ebene canvas and other like canvases will always be pretty close but not exact unless they were all cut from the same fabric roll. An example would be buying wall paper or fabric to make a dress. We're told to buy extra yardage because if we come out short the next time we buy the rest to finish the project it might be coming from a brand new bolt. Hence just a shade off. Very helpful information on both handbags. ❣️

I like the top handle of the pochette metis, but I love the contrast of the black and brown on the clapton! What a hard comparison!

How has the lock held up on your Clapton??? I want the one like yours but it is currently sold out in the nior. What concerns me is the lock. Since you have to slide the top part into the other attached to the body of the bag does it get get really scratched and lose its color??

Hi love! So far no discoloration yet. As for the scratches, I think that's just normal wear and tear as it's the only way to get in and out of the bag. Even my pochette metis has some hairline scratches, but nothing too extreme/noticeable. If you love it that much, I'd say go for it! ❤ You can have the lock replaced when the wear and tear gets severe and bothers you anyway... but I'm guessing it will be around 3-5 years if you rotate your bags. At least by then, you already had your money's worth, cost per wear wise. Hope to help. 😊

I'm so glad that you made this comparison video! Both bags are great, and it's been great knowing the slight differences in them (i.e. the Clapton D rings on either side are located on different compartments).

Have you had any issues with the hardware rubbing on the edge/glazing is the flap? I just purchased this and there is one side that rubs against it depending on the angle of the strap.

Hi love! I don't have a weighing scale so I can't give you the exact weight. But judging when carrying it, the metis seems to be heavier.

purseonalobsession I did once had a Victorine wallet, bought it when it first came out, used it straight for a year but the glazing arrhghh.. had it repaired then less than 2months of used again the glazing problem came back so I got store credit and bought the bloom clemence which sold coz I’m not a long wallet girl. Have couple of compact wallets in mind, the Lock me 2, arianne or Normandy wallet but didn’t find any reviews on KZbin yet

+pursejunky Oh no!!!! 😔 Cross fingers I won't have the same problem huhu... Oh the Normandy would go perfectly with your Clapton! 😍 The Ariane is quite similar to the Victorine but I feel like it is not proportionate... IDK there's something about the size that's a bit off lol.

the Arianne is kind of big yeah, hoping I could find something like the size of Victorine, even the Normandy seemed a little bigger than Victorine, but I like how theres 2 cc slot when when u open the snap button, easy access

No, it doesn't because of the pebbling on it. If you ever get scratches though, it wouldn't be as noticeable 😊

The only thing missing on the clapton is the top handle. It was my turn off, i really want the top handle it makes it easy to grab the purse. Thats the reason why i didnt buy the clapton, instead i bought the vaugirard.
