I bought a monogram Looping GM and I love it, she’s 19 years old and the quality is unbelievable. Older LV’s are the way to go. Would like a neverfull also but I don’t feel confident security wise with the openness of it x

I am generally really not a fan of LV but when I first saw your bag I ended up purchasing the same one in the MM size shortly after. Found mine for 220e, and it's from June 2003 and made in France. I absolutely adore it (I actually am using it today), so for anyone considering purchasing it I can only recommend it!

Tip if you want an LV that you can fit a laptop in but don’t want the neverfull: the Cabas Mezzo - it has a zip closure, it’s no longer in production but can fit a 13”, if you have a larger laptop you can check out the Alto size - although it doesn’t have the zip closure unfortunetly..

I actually bought my first bag off of Vestiaire this weekend. It's not as fancy as a Louis Vuitton, but a super handy black leather clutch from Coach, which was never worn and bought at least 50% off of it's new price. I'd say that's winning

Hi! Great review! I have the croissant MM and I adore it! I always wear it in Paris when it rains and I had for 10 years and it is perfect :) The zip slides perfectly. The savoir faire français :) If you want a bag for your computer go for a Sac Plat more iconic than the Neverfull and it is structured therefore more elegant as well! Biosus from Paris 💋

Love the bag! I have a Louis Vuitton Vintage Hat Trunk that my husband bought for me from the year of my birth, which is a really special piece in my bedroom. My second Louis Vuitton purchase was earlier this year (a Neverfull MM) which I can highly recommend! Side note, I love the Annisa Kermiche vase, I have it in the blue 😍

Thanks, this was an excellent, thorough review. And I’m glad you explained the definition of vintage-20 years or older. I never knew there was a specific cutoff... I would think that it should also be a bag design that is no longer in production, as well. Although I guess after 20 years there would probably be slight design variations in even the most faithfully produced bags that would distinguish it as vintage. Either way, and no matter how it’s defined, I love vintage bags!

This is a trip down memory lane, as the small version of this was my very first designer bag purchase, about 15 years ago! I still love it, though if anyone is in the market for the small, I will say that due to the shape, it doesn’t fit an awful lot in, you will JUST fit an iPhone 11 in there... loving seeing you back too!

Great review. Am a big fan of LV, both second hand and new. Own a speedy, neverfull and delightful. The canvas is so hard wearing. Love neutrals too so goes well with those clothes.

Word of warning with VC, have a look at their actual Trustpilot reviews - they have an English page and a French page both where loads of customers have complained. I personally don’t feel comfortable buying though them. Still loved you showing us this vintage piece!

I was totally inspired to get this bag coz I saw it in your other videos. I do love it but my leather strap is a bit more pale honey so I have to be picky when I use this bag. In the UK and the weird random downpours we get, it's not had as much time to bask outside as I would like it to!

The canvas now on Louis Vuitton bags are a lot softer which I prefer,,I love this bag but my only concern would be that it doesn't stand up on its own when there are items inside it,,,if it does that's a great bonus xx🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

How did I miss this video?! It’s a cracking bag and the price you got it for is very good. I always have a fear of getting my purse, cardholder or whatever out my bag at checkouts when shopping without a faff (mind you not going physically shopping really anymore) and I’ve fallen into traps before of buying a bag that looks good but isn’t functional and can’t get things in and out very easily/quickly so these reviews are always helpful. Oh and now I know I’m double vintage if 20 years is classed as vintage 😱🤣.

Lovely bag, Emma. I remember your first showing it back when the world properly spun on its axis, so it’s interesting to hear your thoughts after living with it for a while.
