In Germany and Switzerland we do carry IDs with us...usually every day. So the ID compartment is great. Thanks for the comparison video since I'm currently thinking about getting the regular Insolite or the Organizer ;)

I use the top zipper for notes, so when paying with cash, I don't have to open it all up and expose all the cards etc. (I use a separate coin purse, so as not to weigh the purse down)

I have the organiser and also did a review. Love love it! and to answer your question, in italy and france we don't really carry IDs with us on a day to day basis. For example, I don't even have an ID CARD, only have a passport! Cheers!

I've seen a few other LV wallets with ID slots but I think they're older models of wallets. The only LV wallet I have that kind of has an ID slot is the zippy compact. On the left side there is a small shallow pocket that an ID fits in perfectly. But I've been wondering too why many of the wallets don't have ID slots. Great video! ❤️

Thanks for the review, very useful. I think the organiser would be really useful for me when travelling. Re the id holder, I am from England and the only ID card I have is my driving licence. Some of my purses/wallets (not LV though) do have an ID card slot and some don't but I don't get asked for ID very much here so it isn't an issue for me really.

I have the Alexandra wallet and that has an Id/Picture slot. I also have the insolite, which I love but I'm not so keen that you have to open it up fully to get a card out and you expose all your other cards.

Just thought of another thing. I don't use the Organiser when travelling, don't think it's practical to carry a huge wallet when running through airports or when sightseeing. I usually like to carry a small cross body bag, and therefore use one of my LV pouches as wallet.

I did go to look at it and they only had the black trim color. Ehhh...I wasn't that impressed. The trim wasn't as much as I thought it would be, and the LVs looked too big for it and a bit plain. It needs something like a zipper running through it like the insolite org. Also, having so many cards on one side seems a bit strange. I would think it would be hard to get them out.

that's a good point, that is the issue I have with my current wallet, its so hard to get the cards out, well online they have red also; I will have to think about which wallet I get, I love the insolite wallet!!!

The joey/koala has that opaque ID window. I think the Koala is discontinued, but the joey is still on the website-they have very similar wallets.

I called the LV line and they told me what stores they were located at, then I called and ordered them from those stores.

I doubt it, when I called about purchasing it, they weren't restocking it. They had about 100 left at the beginning of the year. You may want to call and see how many are left. If there's less then that, they might be discontinuing it.

I am looking for an alternative to carrying a handbag to work. I'm looking for something to hold my phone (iPhone 6+), work badge, money, cards, etc. and I'm torn between the insolite organizer and a pochette accessoires. I'm leaning toward the insolite (I love the design and I don't have a large wallet in my collection) but I'm not sure I could squeeze my car key in it. Love the vid. Just got this (organiser) on eBay in pristine condition. So glad I got one I cause they're not in production any longer...also saw a review from a European man and he acted as if he didn't know what the i.d. slot was for. lol, he said "maybe a work picture or something" ...he was funny... love your reviews and your daughter is a sweetie.
