A lot of people were hating on her performance on social media... but they have to understand certain type of music is not always about sounding perfect, the type of music she did on her last album is not about showcasing how good of a vocalist she is, it's more about the vibe, the fresh sound, the creativity and being more experimental. If she wanted to sound perfect she could, but most of her latest music is not even about that. Just appreciate the mood, the POV.

Her music sounds great live, however in this performance didn't sound polished (except her vocals in La Plata), maybe i'm reaching but she act like a child because that was the concept for the runway (the intro have perfect sense too in the child dreaming about his future). Looking her live concerts form the motomami tour and it's the total opposite, same as in interviews she sings out of nowhere and it's the same as she sang in the studio.

Theres nothing to appreciate she uses latam music sound, she ride the wave of latin artist. She exploits it bur shes european so naturaly shes getrong green passed with just being bigGER on the scene for the past 2 years.

Most of her latest sound is based on edited vocals and effects that are obviously not acheivable with her natural voice... that doesn't take away from her being a great singer and artist. Let's embrace modernity and technology as something that adds to art and not as something that takes away from it... nowadays musicians have all these new tools to make music with but people love to use that against them because they still have this 'Frank Sinatra' old school understanding of what a singer must sound like to be considered as good. You don't have to like her or what she does, but I think it's quite naive to deny that she's a fresh and talented artist that always brings something new and special to the industry.

@@soodgood1102 First of all, she's spanish... which means regardless of her being from a european country she's still a latin artist. Not only because she makes 99% of her music in spanish, but because there is a much deeper cultural connection between Spain and southamerican countries than you might realize. Second of all, I don't know if you're aware... but this thing globalization has been happening for a while, which results in people mixing with eachother and expanding their original cultures through the world making everyone part of everything. I see what you try to do with your response... it's the whole 'cultural appropiation' thing that keeps on not making sense. According to your point of view, everyone should stay in their own country and not mix with people that are different from them and only participate on their own culture... that's called segregation. I'm assuming you're from USA considering you referred to Rosalia as 'european' because you fully think Europe is a country or a group of countries that are basically the same thing, which goes to show how ignorant you are. Just say you don't like her, but don't try to push a narrative that doesn't make sense.

@@rvm7070 Well i think you're saying the quite naive thing to people who think otherwise because i'm praising her in my first comment. And again, this music on her motomami tour sounds great live (from the same album Motomami), from which she sings over the back up track with the effects that she added on her record which aren't that much, according to a record producer from which she give an interview, her vocals in the album are largely clean without any modification just for some artistic purposes, and probably the normal ones were the pitchiness it's taken over but apart from it she sounds accuratly the same. My opinion comes were even the sounds of motomami songs sound great on her tour (kzbin.info/www/bejne/gn3XmJWoipadjJo), here in the LV runway doesn't because i think it's to accomplish the child dreamy concept than because this music it's not made to sound good live, which it's simply not true. Most of her songs from her second album ''El Mal querer'' doesn't sound good unless it's a minimalistic performance without dancers and elaborated cinematography, but she could mixed up in her last tour to be enjoyable without losing it's touch, ''De aquí no sales'' it's the only song from this performance which could have been tossed and nothing would happen, i'll see that like a song that doesn't meant or were made to be heard live and greatly, like you said. NOW, it's important to notice that it's true that there's certain songs that doesn't sound good live but good on your headphones, there's good experimental music and bad experimental music. As any tool, depends of the artist vision, resources and team how to take in advantage or detriment said tools.
