Louis Vuitton miniature perfume set review!

Afternoon swim was my first LV perfume my son bought for me at Christmas in the 100ml bottle, I want to try On The Beach. I have Attrape Reves in the travel set and that’s a favorite of mine, it dries down powdery. You are convincing me to buy this set 😅 I’d like to try before I buy a big bottle. I haven’t heard of Stellar Times. 💝 I definitely want to buy the LV Lovers for my hubby, the notes are what he likes. He’s currently wearing L’immensite I bought the travel kit after the miniature set. 😊

I just think it’s a good display piece and a great way to try all of these scents. I’m definitely wanting to try more LV scents now. They didn’t send me the samples I wanted…I wanted to try the gender neutral scents as well. I love perfume that smells like the beach! ❤ a lot of people have been commenting that they like Attrape Reves the most. I’ll definitely try that one out next!

@ beckylovesluxury: I also think the notes are important to know what to expect. I bought my first bottle of perfume in store. The sales associate was not familiar with LV perfumes when I asked her about the notes. She had the nerve to tell me the notes are not important. What does it matter. And LV does not emphasize the notes. I looked at her like she lost her mind. I smelled the scents that were available and then picked the one I wanted. She gave me one sample of what I bought a full bottle of! I got out of there fast. That just made me 😠 mad. The whole experience.

Today’s scent: rose des vent. After a while a base of musk and cedar appears, but it wears light and stays fairly linear throughout its life on the skin. I’d say the green notes, the rose and the wood are the heart of this. It’s not a pink rose citrusy light sort of scent, and I really don’t find it overly sweet, what it is is almost translucent. That doesn’t mean you can’t smell it, you can, it has good sillage. It just maintains a gauzy feel like the lightest fragrance floating through the air, as though you are walking through a rose garden but not putting your nose directly into the blossoms themselves, but just enjoying the scented air. It is lightly sweet, leans feminine , and lasts about 6 hours
