I also have a Pochette Metis made in Italy and was worried at first but I’m absolutely in love with my bag! All my LV SLG’s are made in France and can’t be happier. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the great video! Just thought I share what I have learned over 20 years of collecting LV bags. I would like to clarify that no matter what country the monogram canvas bags or SLGs are made from, the canvas will still vary within the country in which they are made. Depending on the style/model of the bag the canvas will feel and look different. For instance, on the Deauville/Bowling Vanity bag, the canvas is super thick and very stiff. Whereas the canvas on the Palm Springs Backpacks and the new Vanity PM are much smoother, very pliable and has a soft squishy feel. Also, the canvas can also vary among the same style/model of bag or SLG made in the same country. I have 2 authentic pochette accessoires, both made in France. One is a lot grainier, stiffer and shinier and the other one is smoother and a bit duller. All the canvas on my made in France bags/SLG are not exactly the same. Neither are they the same on all my made in Spain and all my made in the USA. Hope this info was helpful. Stay safe and enjoy your LVs! 😍

Sounds right what you said here , but in my case I got a multi Pochette made in the USA and I feel still stress about this confusion because there is information that said the difference between made in France and made in the USA so knowing that it is a difficult item to get I feel that made in France is much better. But reading your comment maybe I need to understand that of course always going to be a differences . I don’t really know 🤦🏼‍♂️

Hi there! Thanks for sharing! I have the card holder and it's MIS and I feel that the canvas from it is thinner and slightly "warped" 😖 however, perhaps items MIS is slightly lower in price like the Rosalie coin purse (which is majority MIS I think). According to the LV website they don’t make leather goods in Italy. It’s only France, Spain and US

The USA canvas is also very different!!! I don't want any more Made in USA LV bags, it makes me sad!

I’m in the same situation, I just bought a multi Pochette in Toronto Canadá and it is from USA I don’t know what to do if return it or keep it , at the store they said that it comes randomly so they don’t know from where it is made untill they got it so knowing that it is a difficult item I don’t know what to do .

If you are not happy & unsure about it, I’d say return it. For the amount we pay for these luxury goods, you need to be completely happy about the purchase. ❤️
