I have literally re-watched this comparison at least 3 times. I have tried to love the mm in mono but looked tiny on me even though I'm only 5'4"---you're so right, get the one that speaks to you! Great comparison video. I just recently purchased the GM and agree completely that it's a whole different bag from the MM and i love the way it looks cinched as well. First let me thank you for saving me a truckload of money and buyer's remorse by buying the wrong LV Bag. After a number of years it was time for me to purchase what would be my 5th LV handbag. I love all my other LV's but as a rule I always find they are too small for everyday use after I have had them a few months. This time I did serious research and your videos (this one in particular) helped me so much. I ended up with the GM Neverfull in Damier Ebene Canvas and it's perfect and I know it will not be too small. But in the store the SA kept trying to talk me into the MM. I started with the GM in Monogram and in the mirror it did look gigantic on me. So I let him talk me into the MM... which did look much better. I said if I'm going MM, I'd like the Damier canvas and for whatever reason that print in the same MM looked so small on me in the mirror. I switched to the GM in Damier and it seemed to visibly shrink on my frame. Perfect fit. I did mention the cracking and he said it was the coating that had cracked for some customers, but he had not had any complaints and they sell a zillion of those bags. So again... thank you so much for this video. It played a gigantic part in my purchase.

You’ve convinced me! Just went to store the store excited about picking up the MM. I asked my SA to see a GM just for the comparison And fell in love ! I’m just under 5’7 and it’s perfect! I moved my belongings from my Speedy 30 and couldn’t imagine a smaller tote..got mine is the Mono! Only thing that sucks is it’s raining and I will most likely switch back to Speedy or Longchamp today and not be able to really use until the weekend 😉 thanks for such a helpful video... 💋

I watched tho video so many times. Everyone told me to get the MM bc it’s good for everyday. The MM is very similar in size to the Longchamp large tote and I always find that it’s too small for travel to carry a sweater/jacket, a water bottle, wallet and small pouches. Today I finally pulled the trigger on the GM in DA. I feel like all the extra space will make a world of a difference! Thank you for making this video!

I have a Neverfull MM DA with the RB interior… but I am just watching your video for like the 4th time… and I am going to get me the Neverfull GM in the DE… I know, I know about the cracking on the sides… but I don’t care. I am very careful with my handbags, no like a baby them or anything… but I do take care of them. I am 5 foot with curves and I do wear heels a lot… I want my new Neverfull GM in the DE bur fall and winter, to storage my umbrella, gloves, hats, scarf when needed. I am so excited. Thank you for replying to my comment… I felt so special. I went to the local LV store Saturday night and they didn’t have any, the SA checked local Neiman’s and Bloomingdale's and somebody was just buying the only one they had in stock. I am waiting for that SA to text me, I will have to call in, pay over the phone, and then I can either go and pick it up or have it shipped home. I cannot wait for that text to come… I will pay and just go and pick it up immediately. This is going to be my own early Christmas present.

I'm so glad I came across this review! I just bought the GM the other night. My husband convinced me to just go for it after a couple glasses of wine...so I did, chose the Heritage Personalized (just monogram, no stripes) version. Meaning...no returning. I THEN read reviews on the GM vs. MM, and many of them said the GM was just not practical. I woke up completely panicked the next day wondering if I made a huge mistake. BUT NOW I love the size of it as you demonstrated, and when I'm not traveling for work or using it as a pseudo diaper bag for my toddlers I'm so happy I can cinch it and pull off the day to day look. Thank you so much for this! I was torn on the GM vs the MM as well, because I was worried that the GM was too big. I'm 5'3" and loved that I could see it on someone "tiny", lol! I like how you show how to cinch the GM to make it look smaller, but I love the idea that I can make it bigger for those days where I'm carrying a million things. I think I watched this video at least ten times! I set my heart on the GM size and two days ago I got it as an early Christmas/late birthday gift! I'm so happy with my Monogram GM.😁 Good advice on carrying an umbrella. It rained a lot the first day I used mine and I didn't get a single drop on it. And then it got water spots at home. Long story. 🙄 Hopefully as the patina sets in it will be less noticeable. My speedy's handles are darker than I am and I love it! So it's all good. Also, mention that the synches on the sides can be used for security as well, if they are tightened to the top edge of the bag, above their attachments, and then clip them to the inner/center clip. No one mentions that.

I'm still not completely sure which size to get in mono and I'm 5'10"! I think the problem is I keep watching much shorter people model the gm and thinking it looks to big, but I'm leaning towards the gm now. I'm planning to get one to use as a baby/diaper bag and my husband kept telling me that the GM is way too big, but I was afraid that the MM was going to be too small specially since I have 2 other boys and someone is always asking me to put something away for them including hubby. So the GM will definitely be my mom carry all bag. Specially since we travel a lot. I'm 5'7 so this really helps a lot. Also my friend keeps telling me not to get the mono because the straps are going to get dark really easily but since you mentioned that I will probably get less creasing when cinching it, I will go for the mono then since I really love it in the GM. =)

Dude, I wish I had seen this before I got my MM. I just received it, unboxed it. I haven’t even put my things inside. Now wasn’t the time to be watching reviews huh? I am sure I will love it. I have been carrying a large Rebecca Minkoff satchel that is so heavy. (I love it) and switching between a large Donney. I think I am really going to enjoy how lightweight the canvas is as apposed to the extremely heavy the all leather bags I have been carrying. Either bag filled with my “stuff” weighs 10+ pounds, that is ridiculous. I had a couple of small LV mono pieces and they were lost. Starting my collection all over again. I really would love a small coin purse and I would love an agenda. I think I am happy with my choice because I feel like my next big LV purchase will be a duffle. I have ALWAYS wanted an LV duffle. Good video and you are such a beautiful person. Just a lovely young woman.

I would have to get the gm size cause I carry a LOT of stuff. I have a cosmetic bag with my makeup, another cosmetic bag with other essentials like medicine, Kleenex, Ect, then a small cosmetic bag with pens, phone charger, Ect. Then my wallet, a planner keys, and stuff like that. So I always have to have a huge tote bag.

I got the MM two weeks ago and I’m exchanging it for the GM. I struggled with getting the GM or MM, and I went with the MM. MM is too small

I’m a tote gal for the reason that they are so versatile! My heart calls for the LV GM in Monogram Cherry even though I’m 5’0”. The GM in Monogram isn’t available in Cherry and I hate to resort to MM. I just love big totes as they are perfect for everyday use and traveling. I currently own a large Gucci tote about 24 x 17 x 7 and BALENCIAGA everyday tote about 17.75 x 12 x 6.25 and the GM is right in my alley 😻 Thank you so much for this video! I’ve never been so sure of my choice 🙏🏽

I actually have known for months that I wanted the GM but I keep feeling like the advise I have been getting everywhere was making me second guess myself. Amanda, do you still own the mm and gm? If so, do you carry the gm for everyday use or just trips? Do you recommend the Neverfull or Neonoe the most? I do not own either one of these. They have never been at the top of my list but now I’m thinking about buying them. Thanks

I agree with you about the benefit of having the Neverfull GM in monogram or azur with the vachetta trim. It is more comfortable to wear and pliable than the damier ebene Neverfull. I had the GM in damier ebene, which I ended up selling because it felt too stiff and huge for every day on my 5'4" frame. I could only see it as a travel piece. If I had gotten the GM in monogram, I'd probably still have it. I put my money from the sale towards a Goyard St. Louis GM tote and I love it! It's so lightweight and pliable! I have the Neverfull MM in monogram and damier ebene and wear them both open like you do. Glad I found your channel. I just subbed!

I love my Goyard St. Louis GM! It's super lightweight and you can easily bring in the sides to make it smaller. I traveled with it recently and it was amazing! I hope to get the same tote in the PM size soon. There are a few videos on YT about the Goyard if you want to check them out:)

Not a huge fan of the mono...wanted to get the MM or GM in the Damier. What color will be better for work, travel, and all around season? Also to lug around a macbook do you recommend the larger one?

Macbook will fit in either size, so I'd just determine which look you prefer. I personally prefer the Ebene in MM and Mono in GM, but that is my personal preference! Good luck and congrats on a new bag! XOXO

This video is so helpful. I definitely like the GM for the versatility of shape and all of the other things you addressed. Best video comparison, thank you! This totally helped me with my decision. Even though I don't necessarily carry a lot I like the option of the additional space for travel or everyday (best of both worlds) and for the small price difference, it makes more sense for me :).
