So I’m considering one of these cases, and my question is don’t you have to have these items in a clear plastic bag for security? How are you getting away with having it in this case instead? Has security stopped you ever?

Through TSA? I have never had an issue. I didn't know that was a rule. Even prior to using these, I never used a clear case. As long as the liquids inside of them are to their specs then you should be good! I tried looking on the TSA website and didnt see anything about clear case. It only outlines ounces for liquids, but to answer your other question: no, I *knock on wood* have never been stopped by TSA and travel frequently. Also, I would recommend the medium size if youre going with 1 so you can fit more :)
