Can't agree with you more that it's such a classic and it's still a "HOT" item aka "hard to find" these days! Honestly LV's leather is so durable, mine is 20 years old passed down from my mum and it's still brand new. All I had to do was just get a new strap because it fell apart. Idk if you have the same issue but my con is that when I carry the bag on my shoulder or just daggling from my hand the zipper starts to unzip and my things fall out! So I always have to watch how I'm carrying it... I guess that's why I don't carry it as much, thank you for this detailed review girl! 💖

Yesssss I remember you mentioned that before! 💕 So cute that you got a vintage piece passed down from your mom that is so cool! I actually don't have that issue with my bag, the zipper is suuuuuuper tight and doesn't move when I use it. Perhaps they changed their zipper style/designs!!

Try applying coconut oil, it'll take the white stain away. You will need to reapply every few weeks though. I believe some LV locations repair bags ( hand sanitizer stains), it's a new service being provided due to so many canvas bags damaged during the pandemic.

I was the fortunate ones to preorder the PA mono back in June, got it in August from a SA. This bag is a classic, I love it. Finally, us Melbournians just got out of lockdown, and I'm finally using it! You can use coconut oil to get rid of the hand sanitiser.. let us know if that works. Ok... no guarantee that it’s gonna work for your case but let me share what I have done with my LV canvas wallet. At the beginning of this pandemic I was getting q paranoid and actually sprayed alcohol on my wallet (as I used alcohol wipes with it and it was ok), but then the alcohol concentration of the spray must have been so much higher than the wipes I used and white spots appeared on the canvas, as if the alcohol reacted with the coating of the canvas. It wasn’t popping or anything, just white spots so I thought probably I can fix it by evening out the colouration of the canvas by “glossing” the entire canvas surface all over. I happened to have a Mentholatum lip gel at home, which with my limited knowledge in chemistry I thought was not reactive. So I smeared the gel thoroughly and then wiped any excess away with a barely wet towel a few times. The canvas totally recovered in my case as if nothing happened.

No I haven't, I'll definitely give that a try. I read on the bag forum to use olive oil on the canvas, and I did that but nothing really changed! I'm just glad it didn't get on the vachetta leather. Thanks for the comment!! 😊

@helloxluxury call the customer service line! They can send requests to stores across the country that have the item available. They’ll email you asking if you’re still interested and if you are, they’ll send you a link to the lv website that allows you to order the item. I did that today and got my hands on the Pochette accessories Damier Azur . It’s not always guaranteed though. If they don’t get a chance to view your request before they sell out of the item then you won’t get a response. Usually it takes up to 48hrs for them to get back to you.

Tips for hard to get items: Call the lv customer service number. Ask them if they have it available to order through their internal stock & if they don’t, they can send requests to the stores that have them available. They will then reach out to you within 48 hrs (as long as the item is still in stock) and email you a link to order the item. I’ve done that a few times & it’s worked every time. That’s how I was able to get my Palm Springs mini, Multi pochette, & Pochette Accessories in Damier Azur .
